The water mount does not give an accurate speed rate of how fast your going… By means I believe its 60% but that might be a good idea to add that!
I only have two water mounts. The Seahorse and the Savage Turtle from the Trading Post. Neither one indicates how fast you are going when in water. In fact the seahorse feels slower than it used to be.
battle turtle is 135% in water, same as all other water mounts.

Most water mounts are 100% ground speed and 100% swim speed. I use DejaCharacterStats, so I keep my movement speed available on the character window.
The Trading Post turtle does say “This mount swims fast and can’t move very quickly on land.”
None of my mounts tell me their actual speeds, though.
