Watch streams for toy, immersion bad
Steams?
Envisions Fry opening the the steam pipe… No good! It’s full of steam!
Uh, so don’t watch them? It’s just a toy. Do you really need a disco ball? If so, you can break immersion for a few minutes. I mean, not poking at you, but going to the restroom kind of breaks my immersion, but I have to do it occasionally.
You chose to do that, it wasn’t forced on you.
Put stream on…
Go to sleep…
Wake up and claim toy.
I got the toy without watching the stream. I opened a stream, I right clicked on the tab and clicked mute, then changed tab. Checked it later, clicked claim toy, closed the tab. Don’t even remember what stream it was.
But do you not see it as an avenue to people doing this more? MUST WATCH STREAM… ignores game more, goes afk more, pays less attention to in-game music and dialog more…
I love me some steamed hams.
I’m here to let you in on a little secret. You don’t have to watch the streams. You just need to have the browser open. You could even have the quality set to 160p to save on data usage.
i actually dont watch streamers of games I plan to paly for this reason.
I do not see this at all.
Aurora Borealis? At this time of the year, localized entirely within your kitchen? May I see it?
Sigh… I know this, but my point WAS—let me put it this way—back in 2010 let’s say, we didn’t have streamers. Immersion was beautiful! We didn’t have a choice. I’ll stop here… fruitless.
My immersion won’t be ruined if they offer the Magic Chicken.
Content creators have always been a thing. Podcasts, WarcraftMovies, etc. We still head Wowhead posting spoilers, we had Athene doing crazy rants, and PVP was full of RMT over Skype, instead of Discord. And the game was dead back then too.
Easy solution.
Mute it.
Immersion restored, you’re welcome I’m very heroic and wise.
Love,
Kaag
The weekly marmot from tankspot was my JAM
there an aurora borealis… At this time of year. in this part of the country. In your kitchen?
May I see it?
Blue Plz! listener checking in! We had plenty of WoW content creators making great stuff back in 2005.
