Watching someone get carried is a terrible 1st world problem

I’m watching twitch more often and the amount of times I see someone getting carried in a +15, 2200 ratings, mythic raids makes me angry. Players work their butts off to accomplish things and others get things handed to them.

Look at my number of Heroic N’Zoth kills. 50+. Raised $30K just last month for St. Jude’s- free carries
Then I have my paid guild carries (heroic raid, visions, M+, etc.). I helped gain millions of gold for guildies.
None of these things are hard to do. Carries are just conveniences like using a car to get to work or letting a computer do DPS simulations for you instead of manually crunching numbers

The worst thing is a raid that doesn’t advertise that the leader’s buddy is being hard-carried by you. IMO the ilvl requirement in LFG should be capped at the highest ilvl in the whole group.

Not everyone plays wow as seriously as you. Also it doesn’t impede your hard work or take anything away from you. If someone wants to pay to win that’s good for them. Doesn’t hurt me at all.

Carry me, senpai.

Join the Perky Pugs Discord (can Google it) to be alerted for our Ally/Horde Fri/Sat/Sun runs. Donating doesn’t increase your chance of winning the Twitch raffle but watching more time/days does increase your chance slightly. They gave away over 9,000 mounts last xpac and literally couldn’t find anyone else to give the mount to before the xpac ended. Everyone who wanted it, got it. This month’s charity is The Trevor Project.

66% of my gold >.>

I do love the work you guys do for charity though. It’s an awesome arrangement that benefits everyone, and you guys deserve a lot fo credit for organizing it.

They are paying for these carries. They either had to work for the in game gold to get the carries or they had to pay for the wow token gold. What are you talking about?

A lot of the people I carry are just too busy IRL to play WoW like they wish they could. Doctors, military, etc.

150k for a full clear on heroic? I must admit that is a pretty good price

as someone who times 15s with ease, I don’t care if other people get carried in them

Everything comes with a price. You can pay to turn real $$$ into gold and use that for carries. Or, you can do it the old fashioned way and pay the iron price, haha.

Raid progression is a fleeting thing because it is always wiped out by tier progression and catchup mechanics. All that time spent on Benthic gear doesnt count for much now, does it? Let ppl have their carries and get their AOTC. In a few months we’ll be into a new expac and nobody will care.

No, they don’t. Those carries aren’t free.

And making gold is another meta-game entirely. If people are willing to pay, I don’t see the problem. In 6 months, nothing from this expansion will matter.

Make the memories you want, don’t worry about the rest and how they make theirs.

You really need to work on seeing things from points of view other than your own. You constantly make replies like this.

It should be common sense that, yes, Heroic clears of the current raid are considered hard to the vast majority of players. Your bubble is not how everyone sees the game.

Those that paid for the carry paid for everyone’s flasks, food and stuff, can you really say that they’re not contributing anything?

Yep. For the carriers it probably beats flying around for hours picking flowers lol…

Expac is on the cusp of being out the door. And unless ones guild cares to to be the 303rd best guild in wow and not 400 like end of legion…yeah the race is over really,

And imo payment for carries at this point is not sound use of gold. This stuff will be replaced by basic greens off of semi trash mob mini bosses level 51 of sl.

But if they want to spend 150 k on that…their money really. I can’t judge. I blow gold on mogs i don’t use a lot on a bad spending spree day sometimes. Granted I at least get a handful of mogs.
