Im happy for all the wow players who are happy enjoying New World, and I’ve only recently started to watch it being played. I really like the customizations starting off diverse in this game. It goes so much farther when vulnerable players don’t have to ask to exist and are by default welcomed with equality I am interested in seeing how the game grows in the next months as it gains more attention.
it’s B2P so it won’t grow in next few weeks. it will follow a GW2 pattern.
can you explain those?
it’s a burst all at once, gradual decline, until a new expansion then another burst.
so far the trend is not yet matured but in a few weeks, as players reach endgame it will be. you can follow the numbers here. You can see there was no major jump in players on weekend, but there is a steady loss of interest in viewers. this means the number of new players starting late will be poor.
Even though the customizations might be diverse, it’s still a colonization game.
I dont know the lore of NW i guess sheesh
-Insert copium meme here-
most games cant keep people in 2021 like wow new world just another one to be added to line.new content yay oh im done bye til next time.
I feel for you, keep holding on.
so what you’re REAAAAAALY saying is WoW needs to launch its own crypto-NFT nonsense.
you heard it here, folks. 10.0 Hordecoin (HRD) confirmed.
member that saying player retention oh were did it go in 2021.
Hordecoin ?
You have like a “tab full” of “Crypto WoW currencies”.
Factions have been using all kinds of “Fantasy Bitcoin Ripoffs” to circumvent the gold showering Xanadu to please players.
New World folks are actually the Amateurs in this. They are in for a future of updates until they prevent all the exploits wow has already suffered.
While WoW continues to tick over on life support.
down to the last couple million players…
I’m having a blast in New World. Really enjoying the crafting, pvp encounters, and coming together as a faction to help companies take territory. My server put aside the petty guild differences and all leadership came together. I’ve talked to more players this week(willingly lol) than I have in months on WoW. It’s fun, but I’m not too sure how itll do in a month or two when most people hit endgame, if they hit it at all. I’m currently level 30 and its starting to slog; quests have generally been very uninspiring and the story is meh. Combat is wonky on occasion. Switching weapons can be unresponsive at times. The game is like Runescape, if RS came out today. It’s addictive, fun, and I enjoy it so far. But I have questions about its longevity.
Its gonna decline soon, and even further when people realize you can’t fly unless your a leadership role.
Edit: Confused it with Ashes of Creation, but from what I read it has quests similar to 2005 WoW and pretty generic unless you wanna build stuff and PVP a lot. Not my thing.
Okay you convinced me
I’m convinced that you go around the forums to say edgy things and troll.
I think you have that mixed up with Ashes of Creation. There arent any mounts at all currently in New World, which obviously sucks.
