Meh, there’s always next year. The Blue response about the drop rate has given me hope it will be better :eyes:

The mount did not drop but I also didn’t try to get it so Valentine’s went as planned!

I hope they give a feat of strength for old timey owners and buff the rate. 0.03 is such a strange rate for a mount. Even 0.5 rate mounts are hugely annoying to farm, 0.03 is like sadism lol

Didn’t even try for it. Hard for my heart to break over something when i didn’t care one way or the other for the item.

My heart was already broken coming into this Valentine’s so… it was like them trying to attack me but “your target is already dead.”

I only tried on my 3 characters each day, which really wasn’t very difficult.

Only one of them is DPS, a Hunter, and still did not really have a long wait; I’d start the queue and then mess with the Draenor mission board or putting things on Auction, and then it would be ready.

Here is hoping they make it a more reasonable drop percentage next year!

I know RNG doesn’t have rules but when something rare that I don’t really care for drops it feels like I’ve wasted my stored luck and now I won’t get the rare drop I actually wanted… makes me feel bad instead of good to get it, I also sort of picture I’ve taken it from someone who wanted it (like I said, I know it doesn’t really work that way, all feels)

As long as I’m not getting drops it feels like the luck is “banking up” for my high value rolls I have been hunting.

I used to run it on multiple alts every day.

Gave up 2 years ago. Haven’t regretted it.
