First there will be the little pleasures – the end of the incessant screeching about RDF, no more classic threads derailed with incoherent ramblings about retail lore that jumped the shark 5 expansions ago
And then more importantly, what a pleasure it will be no longer being subjected to the awful takes about class design and the pacing of content phase releases.
i’m gonna be honest i dont care a single bit with what they do with WOTLK. i play it for fun until DF, and that’s pretty much all it’s been. i dont expect changes

I think a lot of it too has to do with the fact that the game is overloaded by plate players rn.
The design is meh and everyone wants to be plate, so we end up with 90% plate 10% other.

WOTLK is the GOAT, I’ve been pretty clear about that for a long time. Where did I make any of those claims? I don’t see an issue with a mage casting from multiple schools… I do like less abilities, considering I play shaman and I have a lot of keybinds.
But do continue to make a fool of yourself and prove further that classic andys are clueless dopes.

I’ve been having a fun time and an even greater time now that most of the tedious grinding is done. Now that I finished leveling professions and most reps, I can casually logon for raids and that’s it. Naxx is a nice nostalgic trip, but simultaneously a snooze fest, hoping I finally win The Turning Tide. Honestly what I’m most excited for is Ulduar because some of my fondest memories of Wotlk reside there. This is what I want out of WoW. I want to be able to play 1-2 nights a week, get some good gear and be done until next week.

I expected a game that would keep me distracted for a little while during the current Retail content drought and Wrath is certainly doing that.
But man, there’s like nothing to do. Everyone expects you to have pre-BiS for raids that aren’t even remotely difficult enough to justify that sort of gear for and the dungeons require more effort to not fall asleep during than they require to clear them. Wrath Classic is a couple weeks old at best and most of the content already isn’t worth doing. And dragging alts through the god-awful leveling process without RDF makes me actively just not want to play Wrath anymore.
Like man, this expansion aged very poorly. Even I remembered it fondly since that’s when I started playing WoW, but what I got is most certainly nothing even remotely close to “the greatest WoW expansion of all time.”

Yeah this is the big one for me too. Like, there’s nothing really keeping me logged in anymore. Like I said at least I can raid log and stay up to date.

It feels significantly different then tbc felt and for me thats a good thing. The leveling zones felt better, the heroics and dungeons feel better. And dalaran is 10x better.

It’s been fun so far I enjoyed the zones, story, and characters so fare. I’m gearing up a alt which is nice to change roles up. I say the games lived up to the hype for me. I don’t see the apeal of dragon flight personally they got a class , a flight mechanic, and talent trees soooo ya gl there.
