Was Rogue Fun in Legion?

I was enjoying several classes in Legion but I found it to be the most alt unfriendly expansion ever because of RNG legendaries.

I really wanted to pick up Rogue but didn’t have the time. I regret not doing it now because the artifact skins are so awesome.

Were they fun? I’m really enjoying leveling my Rogue right now in BFA. Since BFA is essentially ‘Legion Lite,’ I’m guessing that I missed out on some serious fun in Legion.

Fun is too preference dependent for me to answer for the masses.

In my opinion, Combat was better than Legion Outlaw. Sin was improved from Wod to Legion, but keeping Slice and Dice would have made it better. Sub in WoD was way better than Sub in Legion and BfA.

But to answer your question directly, Outlaw and Sin were fun in Legion to me. Sub was kinda fun I guess. It’s just different.

I really enjoyed Legion overall. Rogue had it’s ups and downs in Legion, but I mostly enjoyed it over a few previous expansions. Not saying other expansions didn’t have their good times. Cataclysm and MOP had some pretty good times. Just that, I pretty much enjoyed playing my Rogue throughout the entirety of Legion.

legion subtlety was amazing and in world pvp rogues were unkillable gods. i could gank anyone i wanted. tank ,healer, didn’t matter. they were gonna die guaranteed.

I couldn’t stand Subtlety in Legion, but Mut was fine. Didn’t play Outlaw enough then to really speak on it.

I basically quit playing Rogue in legion. I loved the expansion, but Rogue wasn’t nearly as much fun. I switched to Monk and loved it. Then I expanded out to other alts and let my Rogue go stale.

I’ve started laying him again in BfA, and I find more enjoyment.

But man I still miss the days of burst of speed and one trick pwny!

Outlaw was pretty fun. Sin was strongest but didnt feel as fun to me.

Sub was fun.

I thought sub was really fun. As goofy as DfA was, it was still a fun mechanic to play as it forced you try to maximize that single hit every 20(?) seconds.

I didn’t think Sin was very fun in pure single target, but a lot of people liked it so that’s just me personally. On council fights it was extremely fun for me though.

Outlaw I didn’t play much. It was faster than the other specs for sure. But other than that can’t say much.

All in all yes rogues were fun.

Cloak and legs in WPvP were gorgeous

I agree, sub in legion was godlike. High skill cap and optimization in raids, invincible in world pvp. Most fun I had on rogue in a very long time.

it was so good! it’s sad they ruined it. at the end i was geared enough to use weaponmaster and with the antorus 4p they could both proc at the same time and do 2 20m crits in a row deleting things off the face of the game. and in wpvp between the feint pants and prydaz and those items you could get from the class hall that let you vanish and blind with no cooldown it was so unfair for anyone else lmao. another cool thing i did once i had on umbral moonglaives with the rogue aoe cloak and the crit shoulders and i wiped a raid of alliance trying to kill sylvanas basically by myself.

lol are you talking about that stupid multistrike trinket build that let you poop on tanks? XD my favorite thing in WoD was the legendary ring. i’d go to darkmoon island when it was up to go fight moonfang, blow all my cds and the ring and by the time i did 3 finishers to the boss i’d let myself get mind controlled on purpose and the ring would explode and instantly kill the raid lol

Yeah the shoulder crit bonus with all of our vanishing powder was cheat code status
