Hey everyone. I built my PC going on a year ago I’d say now. Looking to upgrade very soon and was looking some advice on which to go to 1st. I mainly play WoW and occasionally play COD. Since budget is tight I can only upgrade one thing at a time so looking the best bang for my buck for WOW. Any help will be greatly appreciated.

What kind of upgrade are you looking for?
What display do you have?
What kind of peripherals do you have?
What’s your budget?
As it stands, that system should run the game great as is at 1080p and even 1440p.

I am sorry I forgot to post that. I am just looking to get the most I can out of the game. Currently on 1080p monitor maybe to go to 1440p later. Really looking for advice on if I should upgrade CPU or GPU I guess is where I am at.
It should be running pretty good right now as it is. In what way is it not meeting your expectations?

You are fine at 1080p, get the 1440p monitor first than look to a GPU upgrade once new mid level cards launch.
CPU wise, an upgrade won’t make a difference until you reach RTX 3080 level GPU performance with a high HZ monitor so you are fine there.

Well when I get into busier areas it tends to want to stutter a bit. It does well but PCs are a bug so was just curious if I should go GPU or CPU 1st LOL. I will be going to 1440p as soon as I can save up as well. Eventually want to have a AMD 6800 ( non XT ) and 5600x-5800x CPU wen all of them become more available
Are you playing on DX11 or 12
11 I believe but I will have to check. I the Geforce Experience though may have upgraded to 12 but I will have to look
Use DX12, that improves framerate on multi-core CPUs
