What I mean by this… A demon hunter uses fel magic, thats the gimmick… it randomly using nightfae and kyrian powers were lame especially when for other classes you let them keep their SL abilties but gave it a recolor to match the class thematic.
Example Mind games now having shadow magic sfx, Hunters old Kyrian ability is now a Sentiel owl.
Why for the Demon Hunter rework is The hunt still making you poop fairy dust and decree is blue/white arcane nonsense.
is the time to clean this up, not when youre doing big talent reworks…?

I was in support of your post until I read the ‘pooping blue fairy dust’. Never thought of it like that before, but now l’m down for it.
Why would they remove perfectly fine abilities when this is what glyphs are for? Just add a glyph that makes the hunt green (or shadowy like Illidan’s HotS ult of the same name) and a glyph that makes ED fiery
Or Blizz can just make them like that baseline and alter their names. Potayto Potahto
The abilities are fine in function and (aside from their visuals) thematic for DH.

why should a glyph change it from the way it should have looked orginally… theres not a glyph for the other classes that got changed baseline when the talents were reworked.

IIRC their argument for keeping some of the covenant abilities the same was that it may confuse PvPers. Regardless of the validity of that statement, attaching the appearances to glyphs that they should theoretically have the ability to disable in arenas/BGs solves that while allowing them to look appropriate.
PVP really needs to be spun off into a different game at this point.

i dont think pvp is a valid excuse, when again weve seen other abilties were changed from the transition to SL to DF
