I recently purchased a new ONN gaming keyboard and mouse from wal-mart. The mouse had one key that I couldnt re-bind and would constantly open a web page. I had no way to circumvent this aside from installing the software for ONN to manually re-assign the button. I believe this software is what led to me getting banned. Not sure exactly what to ask, I am waiting for a ticket to get answered, but I deleted the app, is there anything else I should be aware of before moving forward?
Regarding the third-party software, even if it’s provided by the manufacturer, you’re not required to use it. Try uninstalling it or exiting it. Normal keystrokes should be able to pass through to WoW without the extra software interfering.
That said, it doesn’t seem likely software provided with the hardware would be a ban issue unless you used it to automate interactions with the game, like macroing commands outside of what WoW allows.
