I work in a doctor’s clinic and all I can think about every time I read it is that we should be getting the standard notices and warning about being on blood thinners. (Warfarin)
I’m just gonna go with TWW rather than Warthin.
Ill use warthin or warwit, maybe wawthin
I’m calling it T-Dub up in this piece
Yeah super dumb. I’ll be using TWW for it.
TWW or any variant of WW will not work.
Ww Is 6 syllables it’s just too many
As much as you guys WANT it — it’s just not going to happen.
The universe takes the path of least resistance so for the time being you are promoting TWW but it won’t be long before you shorten it for convenience
Then type it as WW and say it as War Within
TWW in print is spoken T-Dubs for me, and others. The mashup versions are just meh to me.
Dubya dub
That’s not I how it works.
You don’t say
“World of Warcraft wrath of the lich king” in your mind when you read
Wotlk
It’s
“Wotlook”
So when you see TWW you don’t say “the war within”, you say “tee duh buhl you duh buhl you” which is way too long
Hence Warthin is perfect
your job shouldn’t entitle you to make me not to use warthin as mine.
I use wrath or wroking.
When I see WotLK, I read it as Wrath in my mind. I’m not going to think/read it as Wotlook, that’s stupid.
I’m calling it Warfarin from now on heheheh
“Wah’tlk” for me
See, when I see Warthin, I proceed to think of Saltine Crackers, to which I then get a bit hungry. Thankfully right now I got some Hot Pockets and am being lazy right now.
Yea but that is not the norm
It’s always been “wotlook” since the start
Wot am I looking at?
We’re trying to canonize our internal monologues’ pronunciation of acronyms
I’ve always called it wrath, when speaking or reading it. I have never heard anyone talk about it sounding like wotlook. That’s just madness.
