Is this capped at Honored in Phase 1? If not, it should be.
There are so many people cheesing the system, laying hopping during the Ashenvale event, etc.

I would think something like that could easily be reverted by P2 so I wouldn’t stress too much yet.

You would think, but blizzard tends to let game breaking exploited gear or rep like this stay in the game. Like in D4 when the 1 in a million shakos were exploited. Literally only one had dropped in the world, but an exploit was found and a bunch of people got them. Blizz just left them in the game.

There was a post 2 or 3 days ago about it. They should have rolled back the rep/rewards for those players. Or even roll back their characters.
But they’re too busy nerfing hunters each day while warlocks solo content.
What did they say? Yeah, these streamers are exploiting the system and some are Revered +, using chat to layer hop for thousands of rep
Yeah if they don’t institute a new rep system for this, SoD is a bust on the pvp end. They won’t roll back rep, so they need to make rewards some other rep in phase 2 and beyond after they fix this.
Feel like it is quite simple: Cap reputation at Honored for P1. They did it with honor, capping it at Rank 3.

I imagine a lot of people are revered tho, so they’d have to roll back, which they will never do.
Cap it at Revered, then. And yes, they should roll things back. If you are beyond Honored at this point, you have exploited the game. Simple as that.

way too high tho. That’s just letting the exploit stand. I think it’s best to divert from wsg rep for phase 2 and beyond and use something new, while also granting wsg rep so basically everyone can be where the exploiters are for when wsg rep high level items open up.
Fix the exploit and cap at revered. We are in P1 for another couple weeks.
Make the 500 rep gain a once-per-day thing or once every 8 hours. Everything after is 5-10 rep.
Another couple of weeks? I don’t think we’ll see P2 until mid January.

I mean honestly they should be pulling the event until they fix it. It’s just being used as an exploit that is going to damage SoD at 60 with all these people just immediately getting exalted wsg gear.
Every minute that passes is just letting this get worse and worse.

Does it matter?
Weapons are worse than the BFD drops. And the epics are minimum level 40, and probably worse than what’s gonna drop in Gnomer.
Anything that reduces the number of sweaty WSG premades is a win in my book.

Not sure if their ranking system will change, but it used to be there were limited number of slots based on server population. So on a massive server, you might have like 2 or 3 r14 slots per week. And those go to the 2 or 3 people with the highest honor that week.
And there was honor decay, so if you were r13 and didn’t pvp for a week, you’d drop at least a rank. If it’s the same system, then I don’t think what you’re suggesting is possible. But maybe they’ve changed it?
