Any Idea when the vendor will have the Silvewing Gear? Currently only sells Potions and Bandages. AV has the Rep Gear why not WSG?
Will it be with Phase 3?

Patch notes for vanilla show that Warsong Gulch rewards were added to rep vendors during the BWL patch, about a month after the BG was released. Some of the epic items have comments on websites such as Wowhead from Jul 2005 which was the month BWL was released. Phase 3 would be my best guess, but I don’t know that Blizzard has stated anything specifically.

The wsg gear - including the epic bracers - should be released when BWL opens. The epic legs shouldnt be until phase 5-6 (everuthing points to p6 but if titanic leggins blacksmithing pattern coems out in phase 5 - patch 1.10 changes - you would also thing the epic wsg legs would also follow)

And the rewards may actually be worthless by then too. … I was hoping to get some Silverwing rewards as I level up the outruner’s bow, necklace etc…Ah well… I guess it is meant for the future players of WoW…that will play Classic in 6 months. LOL
THought I saw a Blizz post not too long ago about this. It said the WSG rep gear is on the vendor, but the players won’t see it until and unless they have achieved the required reputation.

Nope I can confirm it is not there. I am Honored with Silvewing and only see potions and bandages.

Having been exalted with WSG on retail back in vanilla days I can tell you its not worth it for Rogues lol
My friend and I were discussing this the other day.
The leather pants targeted at rogue give:
28 Agi
27 Stam
1% Crit
The plate pants targeted at warriors gives:
28 Str
27 Stam
1% Crit
1% Hit
We tried to find an explanation for this out of curiosity, but never came across anything. My best guess is that the 28 Agi on leather gives just shy of 1% crit, so old school Blizzard did not want to add another raw +hit or +crit. That or it’s just a good old fashion oversight/screw job.

Agility is your strongest stat as a Rogue, since it increases your Attack Power with melee and ranged weapons by 1 per point, Crit Chance (by 1% per 29 Agility), and your Dodge by 2% per 29 Agility. This means at Level 60, a Rogue that gains 29 Agility will gain from that 29 Attack Power, 1% Crit Chance, and 2% Dodge
So the leather legs give a rogue 28 ap 2% crit 2% dodge and 270 hp - not bad for 1 slot.
Half of what you stated I already covered in the exact text you quoted. The blue pvp pants for rogues give 22 stamina, 34 attack power, 1% crit and 1% hit. The epic pants from Warsong Gulch are a nominal improvement at best. Unless we really want to hype up the value dodge which is of no benefit against the majority of class/spec combinations.
28 Agi, 27 stam and 1% crit is simply underwhelming compared to what some other classes get.
It was a reward added for those to keep them playing wsg - those who had no intention of ranking up. Its viable gear in its own right without having to spend the majority of your time ranking.
You get rep for a loss, you get rep for 3 losses via the mark turnins - you get better rep via the quest that was available when those pants came out - ‘for great honor’.
at 155 for win and at worst 17 for 0-3 loss, you need between 200 and 2500 games to exalted.
that…is a grind.
Humans and their un-noticed racial - its 10 rep for a loss. 35 per flag cap. An additional 105 for a win. 50 rep per turnin (3 marks) and 150 rep ‘for great honor’ first turnin and 100 rep for repeat turnins.
Add your racial bonus to it and humans have an easier grind then the rest of every other race in wow.
Yes it is. But if you play wsg because you enjoy it - you will hit exalted regardless - i was exalted in vanilla long before these pants were implemented - the bracers are also great.
You only receive rep when your team caps a flag. Zero caps zero rep.

I have been playing this toon since Vanilla and he’s not exalted and he doesnt have the 100 wins achievement. I don’t think my Classic toon will be stepping foot in WSG no matter what the exalted reward is
