I’ve had just about enough seeing Horde players over and over again using Wall exploits and other stuff to sneak in a easy Flag cap. Therese more exploits in here then Vanilla and that is SAD from a company who tried to promise us less of that. IS anything even being done to these cheaters or does NO one care as long as you guys get your money?
First you can jump on the roofs of the tunnel entrance. Unless you know perfect sequence no one else is going to be able to get up their to stop them. You can do this on both horde and ally tunnels but Horde one is much harder to figure out.
second you can jump on many of the stumps in the mid field that should not be able too.
3rd you can Wall jump on the Horde GY side all the way to the top and run into flag room. (the wall towards the horde Portal) As long as your a shaman or druid.
These really need to BE fixed. Losing a game because the other team exploits was always addressed in vanilla and it feels like No one cares at all in classic. IF I’m wasting my time let me know so i can cancel my account.

You need to add the part where blizzard changed their minds and supports this game with changes.

Bots and gold sellers everywhere. Exploits abound. Nope. They just want the money. They aren’t going to spend money to lose money.
Obviously they are scared to drop the ban hammer like they did in Wod. The game still hasn’t recovered from that and probably never will.

Get good. Jumping around horde tunnel. And graveyard jumps from both sides are accessible to all classes and factions. Learn the jumps yourselves.

Sadly this is the only viable option you have if you want to compete. Practice doing the jumps when you have time. Pick a game when you are already steamrolling the competition and practice the jumps so you can do them when you need to.
Right… but that is a horde only exploit… so blizzard will do nothing.
Charging up a graveyard, cave rooftop jumps, the tree in the mid, the trees to the sides - you can still be attacked.
Fix the actual wall expolits (the ones that put you in ‘out of bounds areas’) - alliance roof, horde behind the flag wall, horde roof. These are the 3 main ones that would fall under ‘exploiting’ - the rest fall under creative use of ingame mechanics - nothing is intended to stop you from being on the roof of the tunnel on either teams base. There is clear and easy access on both sides - ramp and gy - to run over to it.
A version of the game that only existed for just over 3 months…
Classic WoW 2019 has been around longer than Patch 1.12…
Think about that for a moment…
When people think of “Vanilla WoW” they think of The World of WarCraft that existed before Patch 1.10, and I assure you it does play differently… It’s not entirely different, but it is indeed different.
Reverting to 1.9 would likely be overall a superior experience for most players even if some stuff was “less good”, but see that’s kinda the point.
Considering that there are a mountain of bugs that Blizzard had in vanilla patched out; now are active in Classic WoW 2019… Additionally and worse, there are bugs in Classic WoW 2019 that simply did not ever exist in Vanilla…
These are indeed valid complaints.

Not gonna comment on the others but you can do gy skip as any class with no speed boosts but speed boosts do make it more consistent. Also this helps both factions not just horde. Personally I don’t think gy skip is an exploit instead it just being a skill intensive trick.
There used to be a spot on the outside of the Alliance building, (Gy side) where players could move into the wall and be un targetable.
Ziryus chiming in. How’ve you been? Been playing Classic at all or just trash talking to hold on to your old wall of no rep?
Does anybody remember playing WoW to have fun instead of playing WoW to complain about WoW?
Just don’t pvp till AB is out, that’s what I’m doing. AV is boring garbage, and I’ve never really liked WSG, plus is a buggy mess in classic.
These have always been part of the map, its just that there are relatively more players who know how to do them now.
I agree that the tricks that take FC’s behind the base, outside the map, but still close to the goal are exploits and perhaps should be blocked. But things like the graveyard, tunnel roof, and portal jumps are possible on both sides and are pretty simple jumps. I think the fact that these jumps are basically mirrored shows that it was decided long ago that they were fair game.
Things like this are part of what makes battlegrounds fun. It’s one thing to have good gear. It’s another thing to know your class and how to use your abilities. Then there’s this deeper layer of gameplay that comes with a closer familiarity with the map and the battleground itself, from study, practice, and experience. It’s not enough to simply know that the jumps are possible, you also have to know when to use them and be able to take the risk of executing them under pressure.
The first step is becoming aware that these techniques exist and how to use them. Then it becomes a question of how to counter them when they’re used against you. We all probably remember the first time we saw a Hunter in Retail disengage off the tunnel and fly halfway across midfield. The next step was learning how to defend against that.
One of the things I like so much about Classic’s WSG is that you actually get to use more of the map. All of those little nooks and crannies aren’t just there by coincidence. I still like BfA’s WSG, but in Classic there’s more of an emphasis on elements like guile, patience, and knowledge of the map.
kinda hard as an alliance to just have fun since all the hardcore no lifer consumable spamming players all stacked on 1 faction for racial advantages just to steamroll alliance pugs. this game is dead for casual pvpers on alliance rn. all we had was AV and blizz took it away because horde had 1 thing they werent dominating and qq’d enough on the forums to get it changed because they couldnt stand it that there was 1 thing not going their way

LOL. They arnt stacked to 1 faction. They are stacked to premades built to win. The issue you are experiencing is premades dodging ques looking for games against pugs. Something that happens on BOTH factions.
Both alliance and horde can exploit WSG. If you encounter either side doing it you should report the players doing it.
