Warrior's Whirlwind only using mainhand if offhand is Titan's Gripped Polearm or Staff

The warrior ability Whirlwind is supposed to hit with both weapons when dual wielding. Titan’s Grip allows you to dual wield two handed weapons. If the offhand weapon is a Polearm or a Staff then Whirlwind will not hit with the offhand, mainhand only.

The real bug here is that you’re able to Titan’s Grip a Polearm/Staff. You were not able to do this in WotLK.

Further looking into this, you aren’t even supposed to be able to do staves at all. The ability to grip Polearms came in MoP.

Yeah im running into the same problem… sucks cause now I gotta look for an additional weapon to throw berserking on. (using double polearms) I hope blizzard addresses this faster… this is an fairly big issue that affects warrior gameplay a good deal, and its been months… no fix… oh well

You shouldn’t be able to dual wield polearms or staves in the first place. If Blizz fixes anything here it will be that… so you might as well pick up a new weapon either way.

It’s a bug, you are not supposed to dual wield polearms/staves or have one in your offhand. It’s been fixed on Phase 2 PTR.
