They are overrepresented. They can tank, DPS, or do less DPS. Most raids always end up taking one for commanding shout in 25-man raids, making up 4% of the raid comp.
While adjusting indestructible potions, titan’s grip, and the T8 4p prot set bonus is a good start, I recommend making Blood Pact stronger and duplicative to Commanding Shout. If not, I’m afraid the 6th warlock spot in 25-man raids might be at risk.
Warriors are way too overpowered in WOTLK. They fit into every role the game offers in PVE and PVP. They make all other tanks useless. They have by far the best cooldowns in the game. If we look at main tank representation, its 100% warriors across top guilds.
Couldn’t agree more. In order to level the playing field for the warlocks, I went ahead and left my heirloom and quest gear on once I hit level 80. I mostly just hang out around the bank and consider picking up a 2nd profession after mining because we don’t even need the extra help when we zone in. When raids are ready for hardmodes, I know I’m the one they’ll roster.
I absolutely agree – we brought a warrior to our raid last night and all it did was make me feel awful to watch this near-BIS warrior struggle to beat the pally tank on the meters.
Can we please finish nerfing them so we don’t have pretend we need one in raid and continue to go through that vicarious pain?
But they are limited in invites to dungeons, after you get one you don’t need another one which spreads the joy to other classes. Hello Warlocks and Mages.
Naw the best part is that Locks are pretty meh by ICC. Since most Locks are just following Flavor of the Month they generally become unicorns by ICC, especially Demonology ones
