Blizzard, I’ve wrote this in the Arenas section as well.
This is mainly for PVP but I’m sure DPS Warriors are not doing so great in PVE as well. Warriors are in need of huge quality of life changes. In a world of gods, wizards, super-soldiers, (and dragons), warriors stand proud to be on the list of classes available on Azeroth but lately, ever since the Fury nerfs, warriors are back to being a powerless, bottom tier spec.
I’m not going to retype the thousand reasons and the explanation as to why warriors are so bad right now. Those are written in my past posts, if you go look at my posting history you will see how I’ve broken down how Warrior as a class has been ignored while the other classes have evolved and have been overcompensated for with bloated survivability abilities. I’ve explained that warriors need one of two things. Either utility or damage. They will be useful with just one.
Either have the warrior class have high burst damage but little to no utility OR have the warrior class have decent damage but have good utility.
I, personally, would like to have decent damage and have good utility.
I think that to keep warriors competitive with these bloated and overcompesated meta, you need to consider at least one or two of these changes. If for some reason these simple utility changes are too much for you, you need to buff up our damage again.
- Avatar also makes you invulnerable to all movement imparing effects for its duration. Can still be feared and stunned. (Does not work with Berserker’s Torment talent. Meaning if Avatar is activated by Recklessness through the talent, it doesn’t give you the immune to movement imparing effect. The effect only activates when Avatar as a spell is activated.)
- Safeguard (PVP talent) is a baseline passive.
- Revert Rallying Cry nerf, make it 15 - 20% additional health
- New PVP talent where Intervening an ally breaks them out of CCs
- Taking Hamstring off the GCD.
- Storm Bolt duration back to 5 secs.
- Shattering Throw now has two charges but its cast time increased by 0.3s.
- Buffing Fury’s PVP talent Slaughterhouse’s healing reduction effect to 4% per stack.
- Buffing Arm’s Ignore Pain to not be a dog-poop defensive cooldown even worth pressing.
- Spell Reflection: reflects a spell and the after have the lingering buff of reducing magic damage taken by 20 - 25%
Thank you.
