Warriors leveling?

So I’ve heard warriors are one of the hardest to level but its been pretty easy for me, though I don’t have a reference on classic really, I played a hunter on a trial account in classic then didn’t really play until BC. Am I missing something?
From what I’ve heard they are very gear dependent, and a lot of guides have said to not buy gear on the AH really, but I’ve been buying upgrades left and right in the AH, and still have 25g at level 33. I find a lot of greens my level at like 5-10s above vendor price so I snag those. Is that making it easier? Or does it get a lot harder after a certain level?

Play a priest for 5 levels then equip the lvl 5 wand from the auction house to get proper reference.

Priests are brutal. My friend is playing a priest and he often out damages people in dungeons while healing

Wands are really good dps at low lvls. But warrior lvling isnt hard, just slow.

starts to slow down around 40-45, but otherwise warrior leveling is really nicely paced tbh

Something must be very wrong with the dps players that your priest friend group up with.

You’ve seen them. Some of these people are animals.

Priests have it the worst honestly, they’re obligated to rely on dungeons to help speed them up, everyone else can kill boars quickly enough.

I found everything after like level 45ish was starting to get slower and harder, lol

I did a warrior in Vanilla and never had a problem with leveling either. I don’t understand the complaints against them.

Note:. Leveling is my favorite part of the game so that might be coloring my opinion.

If you group with others, it’s not very slow at all.

Solo questing or grinding isn’t the most fun, in contrast to say a mage that can AoE grind, when on a warrior, you’re sticking to 1-2 mobs, and maybe eating after a couple pulls.

I haven’t leveled any other classes past low 20s yet in Classic though, so I don’t have much reference, but at those levels even I did notice a huge difference leveling a hunter over a warrior, for example.

They’re not at all hard to level.

But you must keep up on gearing. If you don’t want to do that, and just want to act like this is a warlock or mage that can kill at will sitting in trash items… just lol.

Its a requirement of the class that you’ll get spendy at times to stay above the damage curve… both taken and given… deal with it.
