Why are we getting absolutely destroyed in M+ at the moment?
I’ve managed to pug all the keys to 14’s at the moment and it was a struggle and a huge grind but as soon as i step into a 15 key, I’m basically being boosted doing 3.5M overall and every other DPS and there mother is doing way over 4/5M overall?
Single target is “Okay”, but still any big pull i’m pulling no where near the 20M from an Unholy DK or Fire Mage?
How is this a thing? How cant blizzard give us some sort of slight buff to keep up with these titans in the M+ scene?
I want to be able to log on an push keys above 15/16/17 but no one even gives you a look in because you’re a warrior?
Remove our aoe cap give us back what we had in the first few phases of Season One of TWW. Nerfing us so far into the ground almost making this class unplayable anything further than a +10.
I’ve seen MM hunters absolutely smashing the meters these past few weeks because of a rehaul of there class, do the same to us? Even if its just giving us O’Fury back!
So many people have asked this but it’s still radio silence from the dev team. I’m wondering if for some reason they are waiting to see what the stat increases we get from the extra 6 ilvls does, One would imagine that with all classes receiving the same ilvl increase and shot at BiS trinkets the hiearchy would stay the same.
I’ve gone from being shocked watching both dps specs dropping down the charts and expecting buffs due to lack of as much utility as others bring. To now wondering how the balance team is comprised and what data they work off.
Welcome to the club. The next step is realizing the class balance team is around 4-5 people big, not nearly enough to actually thoroughly play and understand every spec inside and out, and eventually coming to the same conclusion as the rest of us:
None of the devs play or understand warriors at all. We’re Steve the intern’s job at most. Darts at a board. They actually have no functional idea how to improve the class, and they’re too proud to take our advice on how to fix it until it gets to a boiling point (see the posts on the second batch of 11.0.5 tuning where they finally gave us the mainline ability buffs we’d been telling them to give us for a full expansion).
Being an arms warrior main, it’s almost impossible to have sustained dps in m+ because of having to constantly dodge aoe spam, with almost zero mobility aside from our long cooldown gap closers. A huge benefit for Arms would be to have an ability like aspect of the eagle that survival hunters have so we can use melee abilities at range for a set duration.
if thats not enough, most of cleave damage came from rotation around ravager/bladestorm, no other talent allowed.
targets limit for us fury is not the only problem, while targets limit capped the upper damage, the talent tree is currently super messed up too, much worse than S1, it does not allowed us to play around with the tree much, like the onslaught, odyn fury, etc that sitting there being weak.
Sorry are we playing the same class? Arms has a decent area of effect on it’s cleave attack swing, it’s sustained DPS is pretty solid while also having a short burst profile too.
Ground effects are now telegraphed clearly now so you can do the smallest movements possible to avoid them as there is no more guesswork as to where an enemy ability ends while still being able to deal damage to your target.
It’s mobility is also fairly short CD wise charge being 17s with double time, h leap at 45s (30s talented), we have an additional 5% MS available as a passive if you decide to put a free point into it over another optional talent or even picking up intervene to use your allies’ position to your advantage. This is more than other classes have access to.
You’ve still not enchanted your gear, so you’re also missing a lot of base movement speed (bracer/boots would be 1250 speed for free) which imo is imperative for melee dps to maintain uptime with ease and I would always recommend them over the alternative enchants on those slots.
idk man, im blasting. Im doing overall of like 4.5m a dungeon and it feels great, plays great and is really fun. With cooldowns on a pull I can burst up to 12mil and then sustain 6-8mil a pull on the bigger ones
AOE dps is the easy part cleave thunder clap roar sweeping strikes ravager avatar warbreaker. then cleave cleave dump your demolish at 10 stacks or 3-4 seconds left on your CS. Ravager will give you bunch of stack of cm. Use war breaker when demolish has 9 seconds CD save your sweeping strikes for demolish. hold for the start of a new pac if they are low don’t use it to finish them all off open up with CD then just dump WB demolish. we are not really going to do more then 14m dps first pull but should do better then the dk second pull. I can give you a Marco until you get it down. Before the turbo boost the top 99 warriors were only finishing with 4.5m dps when 95 90 parse dk were doing 6.1m dps. On m+ 18s.
I would recommend spending like $20 and get w coach for like an hour or two.
