Any idea why I, as a Warrior, can wear Mail or Leather armor but when doing so I am unable to transmog it
It’s a holdover from when armor proficiency wasn’t as strict (and when warriors wore mail until level 40).
You can’t learn those other types presumably to discourage everyone from feeling obligated to roll a plate class in order to go transmog hunting.
You can only transmog the best level of armor you can wear. So if you can wear plate armor, that’s all you can transmog. Just like my hunter here can only transmog mail armor.
Thanks guys…I really like the RP aspect of this MMO, including the looks of a character. In this case I would really like to have more of a “barbarian-esqe” look, utilizing a combination of both Leather and Mail as I don’t really care for the full armored tank look…even if I have to take a hit using lower level protective armor.
