It would for sure make games go faster with the amount of burst it would provide.
Only Arms getting Bladestorm, Condemn, Banner, Bonegrinder is really, really lame.
This, but more importantly all of the execute related talents need to be removed from spec-specific trees and put on the base/default tree.
All of the bladestorm/ravager related talents also. Get rid of Die by the Sword and combine it with Bladestorm, allowing Prot to also have access to it.
There shouldnât ANY weapon or shield specific talents in the base/default tree. Are they going to let Prot warriors 2H or Dual Wield tank? No, so why are they there?
Slam should be the default generic ability for Warrior that gets enhanced depending on your spec.
-
Prot = Shield Slam
-
Arms = Mortal Strike
-
Fury = Bloodthirst
These abilities should all be single-target Rage dumps instead of redundant cooldown specific abilities. Charge already exists as Warriorâs go-to rage generation ability, and the ONLY reason its not used in the rotation is because it has a minimum range requirement. Just remove that limitation (and on Heroic LeaP) and lower the cooldown, and/or add ways to gain âchargesâ of Charge. So many other classes are more mobile whereas Warriors are almost strictly melee with arbitrary restrictions on movement abilities.
Imagine if a DH couldnât use Fel Rush or w/e if a target is too close. Hypocrisy serves no purpose in a video game.
Overall, Iâm pretty happy with it.
I wish Battlelord was higher on the arms tree, and Test of Might/Fervor of Battle didnât exist at all, though.
Also not liking that Arms effectively has no spec specific defensive while fury has enraged regen, and access to DbtS.
I donât really think thatâs a good design.
happy Arms noises
happy Fury noises
hmm nods I wouldnât complain if they moved it up but I can kinda see why they kept it lower, considering what it do and it being a legendary right now (itâs what Iâm running on my Warrior, so fun)
nods nods side effect of them moving all of Arms Defensives to general, wonder if that will get looked at since while we donât have any uniquely we also havenât âlostâ any.
Iâm overall disappointed, legion (juggernaut) and SL (condemn) talents made as options to arms but not fury, plus the removal of bladestorm? and anger mgmt halfway down T3 vs arms T2. Why not make SMF/Titans grip baseline, and in their place put anger mgmt / condemn, or trim a few of the many stat fillers (Critical Thinking/ Swift Strikes/Valor in Victory/ Deft Expertise) 8 total dead points that make up a wall at T3, compare to any other class. no other have bland +% stat fillers, let alone T3 fillers. You get a feel for which classes get love and which get shafted.
Maybe weâll get the return of Retaliation with a DR component attached?
I know DbtS uses itâs old animation, but that can be changed lol
yesssssssss this is the way
The universe is restored⊠also you get Bladestorm with the signet as furyâŠ
Glad stance!!! PLEASEEEE BLIZ
Havent been this excited for Warriors in awhile.
I love the weapon specific talents. I love that they are trying to make each spec function / look / play diffrent. I canât wait to stance dance. (hopefully worth!)
This is awesome. Warriors got the cleanest retooling so far imo.
Also very curious if Prot Will get to use a 2hander !
Hard disagree.
PARRY ALL THE THINGS!
It looks like as prot/fury it will proc ravager, and also be able to proc off of ravager.
i would say Warrior dps trees are the most complete trees so farâŠdecent pathing decent talents no 3 point nodesâŠpretty good
Fury looks messy so far. They basically threw odyns fury in and thought that was a good idea without doing anything else.
Condemn needs to be available to all specs, not just Arms.
Spear of Bastion is a dog turds ability and shouldnât be an end cap ability.
Condemn needs to be available to all specializations.
Oh and CONDEMN NEEDS TO BE AVAILABLE TO ALL SPECIALIZATIONS!

Massively disappointed that they removed Bladestorm from Fury. Using Bladestorm to avoid CC is a hallmark of a good Warrior. (Itâs also massively fun.) Iâd recommend putting Bladestorm in the class tree, replacing it for Ravager in the Fury Tree, or giving Fury another way to dodge CC.
-
Donât like weapon-specialization talents being in the class tree. Theyâre each designed with one spec in mind, so why are they in the class tree? Prot wonât be able to benefit from dual-wield bonuses/Arms from one-handed bonuses/etc.
-
Overall the class tree looks massively fun. We have so many combinations of mobility, survivability, and crowd control we did not have before.
-
Sad that Dragon Roar is going away for the much weaker Thunderous Roar. The ability really needs to be buffed if itâs going to compete with Avatar and Spear.
-
Prot Warrior and Arms look far more fun than Fury. Fury talents are a bunch of passive bonuses that donât change gameplay very much (short of Raging Blow resets). Like, why do I want to watch my character auto-attack more? Meanwhile Arms looks super fun with comboing Executes and Mortal strikes or building massive Whirlwinds. I was hoping for more Fury talent interactions so we can design a variety of playstyles, such as high APM builds, massive burst builds, aoe builds, etc.

Why doesnât Fury have Skull Banner or a raid utility like it? This just puts Arms further ahead in group content. Iâd like to see Skull Banner and Bladestorm added to the class talent tree. The middle and right side of the tree arenât very appealing anyway, with Thunderclap, Max Rage increase, Shockwave, and Thunderous Roar looking far less appealing than the left-lane combos of Die By, Spear, and Avatar.
As it should be. Become the blender.
No, Bladestorm is fine only on Arms⊠You get it still with Signed of Fury⊠If they put Bladestorm on Fury as well, there is basically no reason to go Arms over Fury⊠I hate having to go Fury this patch, as they took everything from Arms, even the healing reduction.
Now fury is even getting DBTW, and also keeping enraged regen. Use the Signet through Recklessness, you get 50% chance to get Bladestorm or Avatar which breaks roots aniwaysâŠ, and you also have Bloodrage breaking CC, and ER usable on stuns⊠if all else fails, Die by the Sword gives huge Damage Reduction
Wouldnt know, but even then, Ravager is quite good, but dont know how you can proc ravager without first choosing the direction of itâŠ, Signet works, because they are all buffs on the character itself, not directional attacks.
literally just drop ravager on the player and let it swirl towards things close by
