I made a new warrior in Remix to bring to a new realm im switching to, but the sound effects are just so off. I’ve never had this issue before but whenever I use bloodthirst, raging blow, or rampage, it just sounds like its whiffing. I’ve had plenty of other warriors too that have the impact sound of the hits and I have never had this issue, anyone else come across this and maybe have a fix?

Did you make a Kul’Tiran, if so that’s why.

Some classes for god knows what reason have different weapon hit sound effects, I stick to Worgen and Human purely for that, like Night Elf and Blood Elf aren’t quite as meaty of hits for Fury and it throws off my rhythm cause I don’t hear the attack i’m used to.
This has been a problem since at least pre patch. It sucks. Blizzard DOES NOT care at all.

Dude wth, I’ve been wondering why they “messed” with warrior sound effects since I race changed to my Kul Tiran. I’ve missed the sounds so bad, but just thought that this was how it was now. Seeing this thread and saying it only affect certain races is really annoying since the impactful sounds of your skills is one of the reasons I enjoyed the Warrior to begin with. Really sucks because I like my Kultiran a lot, but I’d much rather have the sound effects back.
Anyone know off hand which races aren’t bugged?

Yup, I also hear Taurans are also having this issue, can’t confirm since I don’t play that race. Funny enough, female Kul’tiran are still bugged as well but sometimes the sound effect plays and others it is the missing sound. Kinda annoying still but playing as a female kinda gives you a better hit sound.

I just came back and I HATE the effects, but I love my Kul’Tiran. That is a real drag.

Yeah me too. I was going to make my Warrior my main this expac and it just isn’t working for me. I looked at race changing but none of the others click with me lol.
Lets hope Blizzard sees this and other threads about the same thing, and fix it soon.
Aye, Kul’Tiran warriors makes me feel like the JUGGERNAUT!! I love arms and I love being a Kul’Tiran colossus and the sound effect missing is the only thing that is making it go from an 8 to a 10.
Night elf warriors have their execute sound completely missing, and their raging blow is off sync. I was going absolutely insane thinking blizzard just psychologically nerfed warriors by removing their sounds. In the meantime, I cannot bring myself to play the class without sounds

I just noticed this tonight when my Kul Tiran was able to rampage. I had to search the issue because now it sounds like my warrior is just… sucking wind. Little things like this are just so disappointing.

lol It’s been so long without a fix that I just shelved my Kul’tiran warrior. Now leveling up my goblin warrior instead. Had that one parked at 75 and now it is time to level it up. Especially with all the warband gear I have in my bank for him.
Now playing arms as a goblin is so funny. Named him Serum because he got super strong via a serum. Like an improved version they gave to the hobgoblins. All the strength plus more (healing factor), kept my small size and intelligence. I love RPing a warrior because you can write anything and it fits.

It’s ridiculous how long this has been going on.
Makes me also not want to play my warrior.
I’m sure it may seem like a little thing to some but sound is just as important as graphics imo.
“Little” things like this matter, so keep spamming threads like this until they fix it.

Kul’tirans are just so broken, they’re also missing animations. I shelved mine because they just lost interest in that “race”.

Just verified that this is still an issue on my night elf warrior. Even more ridiculous that there is an addon in Curse Forge “Execute Sound Fix” to fix this issue… someone made an addon faster than Blizzard can fix this crap.

Can’t believe this is still a thing. I was gonna log in to test my warrior since I haven’t played him since the patch, but oops, looks like Bnet has a 20+ min login queue?
