Warrior? M+?

Hello!

Right now I’ve been playing a sub Rogue and been wanting to go into Rogue for season 2 but my friend says I won’t get invited for 15’s and told me I should consider Warrior since they are in a good spot. Would it be better to go Fury or Arms? I have a 70 Warrior right now but thought about starting over from scratch to relearn the class again.

He plays a Blood DK if that helps.

Thoughts?

Thanks!

With all honesty your friend is full of it.

Rogues are a vital component of phys comp surrounding the Brew/RSham/Arms variant which it’s best fillers are Rogue/Ret.

While warriors are in a fine spot right now for keys being so far behind in gearing will be an extreme uphill battle for you to get into those key levels in the first place without quite a bit of time to put into it.

My personal suggestion would be to get an outlaw set finished on your Rogue giving you an in to one of the better phys comp variants as you will be a crucial aspect of their routing at higher key levels when they utilise shroud skips / cc set-ups for funnel.

If you really are intent on rerolling both Arms and Fury are fine to play at a higher level, Arms has the higher ceiling in terms of DPS but does require your group to be built and play around it, while Fury still has a solid toolkit to enable it to be competitive but also fills a different slot in a different sort of phys comp moreso centered around Bear/MW/Fury/Lust DPS/Filler. Both are fun specs imo, but I’ve also got a bit of a preference for Arms myself since it’s a touch more engaging rotationally.

I played a Fury Warrior back in vanilla so the nostalgic factor comes back every now and then. I don’t really mind switching classes just getting tired of leveling lol.

The biggest thing for me is I have the option of tanking again. Just wanna pick a class that I enjoy and will get invites beyond 10’s when my friend isn’t online that can tank for me.

Yeah warriors are in a good spot and honestly i would say you can’t go wrong with a warrior.

Arms and Fury are in a good spot once you get them geared Arms is higher in M+ then Fury but they are both in good spots and Prot is also in a good spot and can easy go beyond 10’s so if you wanted easy class for invites for 10’s when your buddys arn’t on they are a solid pick.

you can absolutely play rogue in 15s. a good rogue is always nice to have – they’re good at helping cc chain stuff so i don’t have to do it all as a warrior.

if you want to start playing warrior, fury is much easier to learn upfront – in particular Thane Fury. that said, i wouldn’t reroll just because a friend has an opinion on your class.
