Bro neither are you lmao. Over here bullying people acting like 2500 is some kind of achievement why are you even on warrior forums?
While this can be true, it goes both ways. In this case, the math doesn’t lie. So we end up seeing the title of this thread very accurate. Even the week 6 overall damage rankings are showing both warrior dps in the lower tier.
It does feel like warrior is the after thought right now though. That’s not even something any streamer is really talking about. While Paladin is getting a second rework when just getting one in Dragonflight has brought up some questions. Why has Arms not been given some streamlining? Why hasn’t our class tree not been reworked so we can take survival and tanky nodes without the loss of important dps nodes?
There are many regulars that I’ve seen over the years vastly worse than Greil ever could be. While they can be out of line sometimes, they usually have a point. No one is perfect though, just take it with a (healthy or unhealthy) dose of salt.
Sadly, you are right though. 10s can be timed with someone being a total drag. Sub 600ilvl, die in a corner and stay there while the rest carry on. At this point though, we can only wait for Blizzard to decide want they want people to play.
That’s not bullying it’s facts. Also, I have a warrior, one whom I am working on that’s 2350 io. I like coming here to learn more about the class, instead I hear how the sky is falling. It’s not.
There is nothing rude about it. It says what level you are playing at and that you have ways to go before balance even affects you. Until you don’t stand in the fire and do your rotation 100% perfectly and plan cds balance doesn’t mean anything to you. You can 100% fix your problem right now watching guides. The only place where warriors as dps are struggling is the top of the top of keys aka 13-15’s which are title keys and even then there are plenty currently in the top.
What does anything you are saying have to do with the continuous target capping that has been ruining the experience of running keys and the excessive AOE nerfs for fury with no single target or little compensation?
And Arms is actually WORSE post this patch.
anecdotal, not helpful
Well, I guess you got no choice except to roll around at the bottom then. If getting good is too hard then idk.
Target capping is bs it’s the worst change ever made to the game honestly imo. However, what I am saying is the sky isn’t falling, sure blizzard hit you with the nerf bat, but I’m just saying there are ways to play around it. I’m seriously not trying to troll or upset people, I know exactly what you are going through right now because my dk always gets the same treatment minus a rare xpack/patch. It’s rough and not fair having to play at a disadvantage but it can be done. Blizzard unfortunately doesn’t listen to anyone beyond raider io and the top 0.01%. All you can really do is roll with the punches.
So than why is their excuse for failing 8s, because Blizzard nerfed Warriors?
Like no one, even Greil, it’s happy about how Warrior has panned out in terms of balancing this season. But to sit there and complain, when that’s 100% not the issue the player is facing is enabling helplessness.
I won’t sugar coat it. Most likely cause they’re just bad. Either due to standing in fire, or not understanding the class well enough.
Another point we have to take into consideration though, is the perception of balance. Much like how there use to be a hybrid tax, there is now a different version of it. Utility.
My suggestion, a class that doesn’t have very much utility would need something to compensate it. Either by pure raw damage, or something that would make a group go, “Hey, yeah. We want this for X.” Currently we are seeing a small group of class/spec that have all the tools and all the damage.
I think this is what they are talking about. At least that would be my take on it.
Crush the enemy, see them driven before you, and hear the lamentations of their women!
I play this game on my own, I have pugged everything since the season started. Most keys beyond 8 fall a part not due to skill but mechanics. So I’m grateful that you’ve taken the time to view my character “which I post on” by the way… I rely on data and information to improve and make corrections. Nice attempt to gaslight that would usually work on someone who’s not confident in their ability, nice try though…
These people have legitimate concerns. There are issues with the class. Your io doesn’t qualify you any more than these people. Its silly to keep referencing it when you’re just now doing keys some of us did the first week. Just because some of us can make it work does not mean the class is in a good spot. If people do not voice their concerns there will be no changes. Blizzard will not arbitrarily look at information. They even said as much in the recent nerfs to fdk/arcane [quote=“Kaivax, post:1, topic:1990237, username:Kaivax”]
After further analysis and feedback,

It is this feedback that eventually gets things worked on (sometimes). Just because Noxiv and Crit are doing 14-15, and some of us are doing 12s does not mean that there are not issues with the class.
edit: rip i failed at quotes
How can they have issues if the class isn’t played correctly? If they are stuck below 10’s which awards myth track vault gear, they are doing something wrong. Should they be middle or top tier dps when the rotation is executed poorly? Should they be endlessly rewarded for just hitting whirlwind and bloodthirst? At some point personal accountability comes into play, you cannot just raw stat your way through the entire game. You have to at some point begin actually playing the game and trying to get semi decent at it.
That’s where the argument of skill expression and poor play come in when feedback is being provided from a point of failure.
There’s no doubt both warrior specs could use a buff, but from a gameplay perspective there are still silver linings on the clouds where players who know their chosen spec can still be somewhat competitive to a degree where the order you press your buttons matters.
Which is the reason why generally burst cooldowns get nerfed and consistent abilities get buffed (usually), since pressing one button to delete things, as opposed to multiple more manageable instances of damage tends to get a lot more attention due to the game also having to balance PvP on the side. Fury copped a lot of nerfs early season due to their oppressive nature in Solo Shuffle (This is another tangent entirely on how they killed rated PvP in general, and how they’re horrible at balancing PvP and PvE simultaneously)
Well, I am here to tell you that even when played correctly, it is underperforming by a wide margin. You can also watch top vods like critcake, it does not get better at higher levels it gets worse. The class is flawed by design. If we are heavily target capped we should at least excel at our target cap. It is simply not possible to keep up with certain classes. We are not the only class underperforming but we are definitely one of them and we do need a buff. Some of the outliers probably need a nerf as well.
Yeah the guy going on about colossus arms being top tier is beyond delusional.
The literal best warrior (besides Revvez he doesn’t stream) is getting gapped by Rets and DKs who have less gear and skill on their class. This was before yesterday’s nerfs as well.
Dps warrior, especially fury has never been in a worse spot.
Dont worry about it, the problem is rightfully on the backburner. They just needed time to add a $90 mount to the game store
hey devs thanks for the ruined class well done
