Warrior Help - Macros

Been running this warrior because I prefer Melee and thought it would be interesting to start doing a little tanking. Didn’t play all that much back then so forgot all about the Stances and have never really used macros for anything combat related. I’ve read some older forums but they weren’t quite what I was looking for. How would I go about writing something that would cast battle stance , charge, cast defensive stance, enrage. Or any other simple necessary ones. possibly pertaining to attack. Super loving it - wish I would have played more back in the day. Thanks in advance.

I’m not great with macros so I’ll just point towards google. Make sure to always include “classic” in your search so you find related info.
Here’s where I hope I can help:
I bind my stances to R, T, and Y. They’re easy to reach that way. It’s pretty easy to hit R for Battle Stance, 5 for charge, and T for Defensive Stance. I’m back in Defensive before the charge is even complete, it can be done immediately after hitting charge. (It’s a different cool down.)
There are definitely some macros I’ll be taking advantage of once I’m at end game. Right now tanking at mid-game doesn’t seem to need any.
Good luck friend! Tanking is my favorite thing to do in any MMO ever.

Ill definitely give that a try or something very similar. I’m not really in to big of a hurry to be that great. Just enjoying the experience slowly. Nothing seems to be super rushed like current material. Hopefully I can get some muscle memory back to the keyboard instead of the 12 on my mouse I’ve gotten very dependent on.

Charge:

#showtooltip charge
/cast [nomod] battle stance
/cast [nomod] charge
/cast [nomod] hamstring

Stances on one button:

#showtooltip
/cast [nomod] battle stance
/cast [mod:alt] defensive stance
/cast [mod:shift] berserker stance

Hi, I recently started doing macros as well. They’re really useful now, especially with all the stance dancing you have to do as warrior lol.

Lets say you these are your skills: Battle stance, Charge Rank 1, Enraged Rank 1, and Defence stance. And lets say you want the image of your icon to be the charge skill icon. So this is how you would write it:

#showtooltip Charge(Rank 1)
/cast Battle Stance
/cast Charge(Rank 1)
/cast Defense Stance
/cast Enrage(Rank 1)

So the #showtooltip part is so that the icon is the charge icon. Make sure when you make a “new” macro, you dont select an icom, leave it as the question mark. I havent tested this macro yet, but hope it works!
