i was wondering if anyone else also notices the same thing with the warrior flurry talent. i have 5/5 in flurry, so it should increase attack speed by 30 percent, but when i check the actual amount that it increases in the character section for weapon speed when flurry procs, it only increases by 23 percent. i was wondering if this is bugged or intended?
you might be doing the math wrong
are 2.6 speed weapons becoming 2.0 speed with flurry?
if so, then flurry is working as intended, at least for that weapon speed; 2.6/1.3=2
this can easily be tested by buying a wooden mallet or a shortsword from a low level vendor and smacking something with it
where does the 1.3 come from where you divided 2.6 by 1.3 to get 2? my math wouldn’t be wrong if we are talking about 30 percent of the weapon’s speed, but i guess the buff doesn’t do that exactly, it’s not 30 percent of the weapon’s speed, because if it was, that 2.6 example you gave would be 1.82 weapon speed. so yeh, can you please explain where the 1.3 number comes from?
Dividing weapon speed by 1.3 is how you get 30% more attacks in a given timeframe.
It’s calculated as X% more attacks, not X% reduced speed, because if it was X% reduced speed it would be possible to have infinite attacks with 100% haste. With X% more attacks, 100% haste just means twice as many attacks, or half attack speed.
