Yeah, although funny tidbit but it doesn’t reduce your damage output on Protection.

Prob because 50% increase on the penalty x 0% decrease on prot will equal the 0%
you lost damage but you win a lot of defence, plus ignore pain you can tank amost every burst, while you are on defencive stance, you can be preparing the combo, and when this is ready you can change to battle stance whit avatar and hit the mortal strike totaly buffed, usually 2 millon damage on 1 hit. that how arms wars fithg.
I swear I saw it at 15% 10%.
It was that originally before they buffed it recently
