Firstly, thank you devs for finally realizing Warrior DPS doesn’t need nerfs, and in fact needs buffs. Now, if you have spent time on the Warrior forums you’ve probably seen multiple posts from me complaining about the state of Warrior DPS, specifically Fury, in the upcoming Oct 8 class tuning Fury is FINALLY getting some much needed buffs, specifically to Mountain Thane and our laughably bad tier set. However, I actually think they might be going a bit too far with these changes. As I said, I’m always here complaining about my main spec, but that doesn’t mean I want us to be this giga OP mows down everything in seconds obvious best choice. I just expect Fury to be at least in the top 6-7 DPS for since we bring so little utility. Seeing some of these changes might make Fury a bit crazy. I think a few of them could be toned down by 5% before Oct 8, specifically these two.
Mountain Thane: Strength of the Mountain increases Bloodthirst and Rampage damage by 30% (was 20%).
Mountain Thane: Thorim’s Might increases Raging Blow and Execute damage by 25% (was 15%).
Those are massive buffs to both our sustained AoE and ST, but 10% to all our core abilities if we go MT might be overkill, especially since we’re getting much needed buffs to our tier set. Those could be changed to 5% buffs easily. so 25% and 20% instead of 30 and 25. Since MT and our tier is being buffed at the same time I think 10% might actually be overkill.
