Warning to all Pet Battlers …if you look on the AH you’ll see Scout battle pet listed as a Epic purple pet its not…just found out that you can buy Scout and Pinkie and they are listed on the Pet Vendor you buy them from as Epic purple color and they can be put it too the AH without having to learn it…but when you learn either one they turn Rare blue color…so don’t be fooled thinking your getting an Purple Epic pet cause your not.

Good, because we shouldn’t have epic level pets, anyway. It would make our collections obsolete.

Well unless everyone was given one then it wouldn’t…I just don’t want newer pet battlers to fall for this trick now and waste gold on what they might think is a epic pet when its not.
Players have no Epic pets, and never have.
They’re an NPC trainer thing.
And the color of the purchasable item has no guaranteed correlation with the quality of the resulting pet. Never has, probably never will.

You and I understand that now and many others but newer players too Pet Battles might not and might be fooled into thinking they are getting a epic pet just by the coloring of the border now…think back to when you first got into pet battles there was quite a bit to learn about them right…its just a warning to help other is all.

Thanks for the heads up! I know of many people that if it has a purple border, they would be very confused when they found out it wasn’t.
