Except literally 2 posts above it was explained exactly what happened and how the guy even removed his VODs to hide the proof.
Of him using imorph… Completely unrelated to what he actually got banned for.
Except you don’t know that. My guess is the vods wouldn’t be gone if it was unrelated.
All I’m saying is the explanation is already here and telling people something different confuses the situation even more.

What confused the situation was people mentioning he was a night elf mage… then imorph then the situation shifts to something completely different.
There are 4 other posts with mages complaining about this ban wave and report abuse against a set of classes for just playing the game.
In 2019 people wanted to report all the ZF and Mara farmers for ages and this time around they got another chance and with the reductions to the CS system and more automation being added. They got what they wanted.
Now you can report someone in northshire for making a mage and he’ll be banned before he gets to westfall.
We got anything on that, or is it hyperbole?
Also, yes it sucks, but 4 people out of the half mill or so that are playing those servers isn’t a bad percentage
Ok, well if there is an unfair banning of mages going on then the public face of the unban effort shouldn’t be a guy who streamed himself using imorph.

Listen if its being covered and the posts are still up not being flagged or removed by blues then yes it’s an issue to discuss and pay attention to.
This has extended to reddit for years with each fresh all the way back to 2019. SoM being the worst because of the timed and more competitive nature of the release.
If you have an issue with what mages can do then Classic plus is where you should air it.
This is suppose to be like 2019 classic, with very minor changes.
Every class has something that makes it unique.

Not allow rogues to pickpocket while in dungeons
Reduce the speed of druids aquatic form so they cant farm underwater crab traps faster
Make mobs turn and target hunters directly when farming nodes
I mean i can keep going. What else should we remove that is unique to farming for each class?
Let the game be the game and just enjoy it… if you dont like how it is… there is SoD. There is Classic Plus om the horizon, but dont rob someone else of their joy in what they like doing… leveling etc… if they arent actually manipulating the code or running scripts to alter the game in any way.

this is making me nervous about playing my mage as i have always spammed arcane explosion, and that is essentially pressing the same button repeatedly. is it against the rules to play mage class now?
Don’t be dramatic, no one is banned for anything like this, hence why there’s always one piece of info left out.

Don’t be, I AoE farm to level mages, its EZ effective and I have never been banned for hacking.
Guy likely got mass reported by botters who were mad that he was sucking up all the mobs because (real players are more effective) and so army of bots targeted him and exploited the report system…
This is what got a friend of mine wrongfully banned for 6 months. I know exactly what he was doing because we were playing together doing the exact same thing, but the botters were very unhappy with us.
They too many actions to remove us from the game, being first they tried to fight back, then when this failed they employed enemy players (PVP serve) to kill us so they could have respite, but we killed them also, and then finally since he was mutliboxing they claimed he was using automation software (he was not; guy clicks all his abilities across different windows.
There it is…botting behavior. Go outside

Nice, my reports really worked, I always report every mage for hacking and griefing everyone with their AoE pulls on areas where other players need to quest too, example the hillsbrad foothills farms. So yes I’m glad you got banned and I will continue to report every Mage I see on sight ruining my gameplay experience

oh the nerve lol. i had to quit bgs when in dk level range, as it didnt matter how well geared you were, it was deatth grip, dead. take your undead death grip and scoot, skedaddle, exit stage left
