Warning About International Gear Store

I wanted to post a warning to those that are considering buying things from the International Blizzard Gear store which is ran by Fanatics. I am not sure what the US based gear store is like but the level of customer service provided by Fanatics is the absolute worst I have ever had the misfortune of encountering. I pre-ordered the Shadowlands Collectors Edition in June, which shipped October 19. Despite paying for the 10-14 day expedited shipping the package did not reach my country till December 9th, at which point it is stuck in the redistribution office awaiting a payment. I received no contact and wouldn’t have known if I hadn’t been checking. When I tried to contact the shipper, Landmark, they have no contact number and all their website says is that the shipper has to contact them. Contacting the support team for the gear store, simply trying to get a contact number so I can pay any fees that are outstanding and get my product I get cut and paste responses first telling me to contact the shipping company, then to contact the local customs, despite the fact that customs released it to the distribution office who is holding the package, and despite informing the agents at Fanatics this is latest reply:

Hello XXXXXX,

Thank you for reaching out.

I am very sorry but we cannot reach out to the carrier for this due to the contract we have with them.

If the package is unable to be delivered to you it will be returned to us as undeliverable and you will then receive a full refund for the order.

If I have not resolved this matter to your satisfaction, please let me know how I can be of further assistance.

Blizzard should be absolutely embarrassed that this is this is the kind of representatives they have outsourced to. This is not the kind of service that any reasonable company would want acting as their representatives and servicing their clients.

If you can order what you want from another source I highly recommend avoiding this fanatics group that are behind the international gear store. I just wanted to give fellow gamers and blizzard a heads up to avoid this kind of ridiculous situation. I assumed ordering from licensed shop would be a safe way to guarantee I could get the latest CE for my collection, but apparently I forgot what assume means

Note taken will never trust blizzard with anything except virtual goods.

You should paste this in CS forums as well. They look into billing issues

Thanks, didn’t think to post it there, mostly just wanted at this point to make sure others did not find themselves in this position.

Bit of warning though some posters there are quite rude , they will give you the send off without empathizing :rofl:

yeah already found someone complaining i posted it in the CS forums, not really sure what the problem is if people can see a warning and possible avoid getting messed out of a purchase in more than one place but meh
