Warning about account-wide Zereth skip

If you accidentally go into Zereth without choosing the skip at the very beginning you can never use it. You’re stuck and have to go through the whole slog all over again.

Once you’ve finished chapter 3, It lets you skip to the point where you have the weekly unlocked on any alts (same as korthia) iirc.

Thank you. I was going to it on multiple Toons at the same time now I know to just focus on one and once that’s done use the skip

This is also a fair counterpoint to warn about as well. If you have alts that could use the gear provided in the first 3 chapter’s worth of quests, you will skip right past it all.

When I saw a skip was available on the first alt I took through, I immediately logged over to a toon I didn’t care about and did the skip on that to check just in case.

Zereth Mortis Skip for Alts

Once you complete Chapter 3 of the Eternity’s End campaign, Forming an Understanding, you are able to skip the first 3 Chapters of the campaign on subsequent alts. To access this skip, once you become eligible to start the 9.2 Covenant Campaign, talk to Tal-Inara in Oribos and choose the option I have been to Zereth Mortis before and met Pocopoc. .

Once you activate the skip, you will activate the portal to Zereth Mortis. This skip unlocks the questline to open Zereth Mortis, the introduction to the Cypher of the First Ones system, unlocks dailies and world quests as well as the bi-weekly quest in Zereth Mortis.

That gear is the same ilvl as the wq rewards though. I’ll be taking the skip lol, not doing that all over for a few pieces.

The gear is less of the concern, as it’s the same stuff you can purchase a BoA version of for 500 anima. The big thing you miss out on is about 15 renown, and some rep.

correct, cap is still 80. But if you are bringing in a fresh toon or one that isn’t 80 yet, the intro quests would feed you a lot of renown.

Ah gotcha. I think all of mine hot 80 a while ago. So I didn’t think of that. Duh me. LOL

You also lose out on 120 Cyphers or whatever the exact amount is from the Cypher intro. You can probably grind out some Cyphers back in a comparable time to actually doing the intro, but it’s something to keep in mind.
