It has only caused more enmity towards the game in general. It has created an even more toxic game environment and is not healthy for the game in the long term.

I honestly think warmode is one of the few things that keeps the expansion alive. Turn it off if you don’t like it.

The only reason I keep it on other than honor, is for the DPS abilities. The horde side get at most a token reward for participating. Because the typical ally response to WM is to attack a solo farmer in a group of 5 then honor-flag like it was some big achievement.

Other than the ally getting a massive participation trophy I keep it on just for the DPS abilities. 10% on 100g or 300 war mcguffins is trivial.

Not really Ciir, the problem is that I used to be on a pure PVE server, but now a lot of people are turning it on as they feel its mandatory, as they incentive for the extra rewards sucks them in…which is annoying, as I care nothing for war mode.

That essentially is what WM was intended as. A requirement for progression.

Given that Warmode provides one faction with triple the advantages to actual player progression for doing common daily content (in addition to a faction-specific quest for heroic-level gear), you’re affected by it regardless which faction you’re on and whether or not you participate in it.

Well that doesn’t belong on my server, as my server was a PVE server, so I think they should delete Warmode.
Or keep it and bring back PVP gear

Ofc someone who gets a massive benefit from a failing system will agree with it, despite it going against how Blizz used to stay away from making something manditory for progression at the detriment of others.

I completely disagree, it’s 100% optional and has resulted in me actually interacting with and befriending other players in-game. The most toxic behaviour I’ve encountered has been during Mythic+, Arena(skirmish), and on these forums(probably mostly PvE players).
They probably already did, along with the majority of people who are bored and/or complaining on the forums.
They just want the % bonus too, and hope that if they complain enough they’ll, get it.

Or make it player/community controlled rather than a flat bonus just for what faction you self-identify as.
