Warmode, Griefing, and the Love of the Salt

You’re absolutely right about that.

FP camping is pretty despicable. I’m fairly sure they reserved the 8th circle of hell for people who do that. (Dante, et al; circa 1657)

“For he, who hath of the FP landers camped, shall rot-eth here for all eternity”

I think the game could benefit from an honor system overhaul. It doesn’t offer anything I find worthwhile, and I think that could be a really useful space to reward players for BG’s and WPvP in a more meaningful way.

They just need to treat honor like conquest — season specific — and offer legitimately sought after rewards; for instance, the elite PvP appearences for reaching the final honor level for that season.

It’d give people a reason to do things other than OP functional rewards that denature character balance along lines of faction or for the simple pleasure of griefing.

What they should really do is remove the Honor/Conquest barrier and offer honor in place of conquest for rated content, and just expand the weekly cap requirement.

That was my suggestion at the height of Legion while designs for BFA PvP progression were still up in the air; but my advice, as is ever, went unheeded.
