If the gear differences are the same as dragonflight, I feel like it’s a bit over thought.
I just use tokens and trophies for gear until the gear is replaced by conquest. They should at least be the same tier set.
Also this may be a minor issue but PVP overall has seen declines, since it’s peak anyways. So I don’t think it’s necessary to split up the forms of PVP gear.
The change I suggest bleeds into other things like conquest cap or something. Though I think these things can be fixed. Either way not a big deal to me personally just sayin. The different currencies kinda bother me too tbh.
Ya, they got a strange obsession with having different powerlevels of gear. There’s no need to have 3… wait, no… 4 ranks of pvp gear.
If they could make it so we can add a pvp ilvl to our pve gear, I’d be really happy! Getting caught with your pve gear is never a good feeling.

In Dragonflight, War Mode gear was different from Conquest gear because War Mode gear had its own WPvP tier set. It was the set to wear for WPvP, which was also why it’s PvP ilvl was 3 ilvls less than Honor and Conquest (blue/rare WM gear → honor gear, purple/epic WM gear → conq gear)
However in TWW, they removed the WPvP tier set but the PvP ilvl remains reduced for some reason. I think Blizzard completely forgot that the ilvl was reduced specifically because it had a tier set bonus, and didn’t think to equalize the PvP ilvl when removing the tier.

I don’t see a point in collecting the warmode gear, unless you like the look for transmog.

Yeah… seems like too much work is being put into separate forms of PVP gear. They should just make them heirlooms instead.
