I try to level as horde in Waking Shores I get ganked by alliance, I level alliance I get ganked by horde, is that Blizzard subtly trying to tell me to disable warmode?
Dudes I am not there to fight you, I am there for 3 extra skills and experience.

+Edit: All “World PVP” I ever saw was me 8 levels down being chased by 3 - 5 party gang bang, fun.
The skills are PvP Skills exclusively.
The Extra Experience and Currency is to entice more players to play War Mode.
No, that’s Blizzard telling you that you’re playing in a World PvP Mode, therefore expect to engage in World PvP or go to PvE mode.

This actually good advise, I went further in leveling zones and there are less murderous psychopaths roaming around.

I love PvP in real pvp games where pvp is the point.
This game is an RPG. Questing. Killing stuff. Dungeons. Adventuring. World PvP is just a time wasting gank fest. lol
I leave WM off and when im in the mood to pvp I’ll fire up a battleground and get it out of my system
It’s really not worth being in warmode to level, especially in certain areas/zones.
You may want to rethink it. Up to you.
Thanks for good advise folks, I will have it disable in zones where “PVP lovers” most active, will turn it on in less popular areas, it is indeed just not worth it.
oh yeah. That bridge i think going into the plaguelands. Little wagon sitting on one side with I think a worgen NPC if memory serves.
Jesus…the high level bored kiddies use to over to the side where you didnt see them. like six kids I think lol.
They would gank you mercilessly till you had to quit or leave the area.
nothing worse than a bored kid with a max level character in this game as far as world PvP goes. lol.
That was when we had pvp servers. It was wasting so much of my paid game time that I spent money to move to aerie peaks I think it was.
After WM I paid to move a bunch of them back to Daggerspine.
Battle grounds are good because you know why youre there. To kill and be killed.
when Im questing Im ok with being killed, but be mature and do it ONCE and move along for god sake. Dont waste an hour of my game time
I like many of the PvP abilites you get with warmode activated. They are fun for PvE too.
I level in Warmode all the time. Right up until my first death in whatever expansion is current. Then I take rez sickness, hearth out and disable.
I’m only there for the exp boost.
It works well for that.
As for getting killed, well… it’s Warmode. People are going to smash you because they can.
