Warmode bonus has been applying to coalescing visions in 8.3 daily quests since Tuesday. And worked until last night’s realm restarts when the dailies reset. Since then, and including today these dailies no longer grant the bonus visions.

so it was unintended and got fixed I assume.

No, it was intended because there was a mechanic in place that prevented you from getting rewards if you unflagged yourself for PVP while the quest was active.

Might be a bug or a nerf. It’s not listed in the hotfixes, so probably the former.

This was added in the PTR as a feature in December. Not unintended.

It would be nice to get a blizzard response to this, it’s something I see being discussed a lot in chat in-game!

Was it intentionally turned off or is it a bug? Right now it feels there is no benefit at all to playing in War-Mode in the new 8.3 zones, especially as Alliance as you just get ganked 7 v 1 easily.

At least with the bonus you had extra reward for investing more time, or slightly higher risk.

On a serious comment, it wasn’t unintended. As Vhx said, it was on the PTR in December.

Even if it got removed for whatever reason, intentional or not, a grand total of like 40 extra currency isn’t worth writing home about considering you can get a couple hundred just killing mobs inside the daily vision.

Also, can blizzard stop naming everything in the patch “visions”? The alternative is like coalescing and that word is obnoxious to spell.

The Vale especially is suicide to play solo with WM on. Mob density, tuning, 40yrd mind flays all that and a player just needs to snipe you from afar for a free kill. It’s rough out there

I think right now I’d just like to see blizzard actually say what was intended or not. I don’t see any mention of it on the patch notes for the 17th.

True, but still I’d like confirmation. Especially since they just put out this long list of hotfixes tonight, which covered a lot of the issues players have been talking about 
 i expected something about the warmode bonus among all that blue text.

We need a ‘is not a bug’ post like they get for classic. I’m really confused about vision gear rewards, mythic key dropping 4 or 5 levels, warmode rewards, and cloak caps.

Add to all this the strange bans and reversal of bans, I’m also feeling kinda paranoid about the silliest things.

Warmode shouldn’t give any bonus at all. It should be for WAR.

Nah it should because you have to put in more effort to get things done when you’re doing objectives

The point of world PvP isn’t to get bonuses or make the game easier.

Warmode exists as it is because WoW players are generally “gimme gimme” kinds of people.

But it also exists because not everyone wants to do world pvp
