Ah dang it!!! Well at least our rats can’t jump. So ha /sticks out tongue

This also affects RP servers. The buff is determined by which region your server is assigned. So in NA, more Horde players have WM turned on than Alliance so Alliance players in WM receive the full buff and they also got the weekly AOO quest for extra gear. RP servers are sharded separately from other servers and are Alliance heavy. BUT they’re based in the NA region so the buff is still given to Alliance players for being outnumbered despite the fact that on RP realms they outnumber Horde players in WM. So extra gear, full 30% bonus warmode rewards, and they’re the most active in WM by a decent margin. You’d think after 2+ years, they’d have fixed it.

I think the WM bonus (if they are keeping it) should be realm/server group specific and it should be updated daily or maybe even more frequently.

The warmode bonus was added to compensate players for time spent pvping when trying to complete WQ/questing. The bonus increases the more your faction is outnumbered. This was blizzards intention for the warmode bonus system, but its obviously flawed because some players on certain servers get the extra bonus, even though they outnumber the other faction. WrA for example shares its nazjatar and other BFA zones with Moonguard. WrA is pretty balanced by itself, but adding the 80% alliance Moonguard server to the zones unbalances the population. Obviously Moonguard and WrA alliance toons should not be receiving a 30% bonus because they are not outnumbered in these zones.

The warmode bonus has nothing to do with BGs or arena participation so this point really doesn’t apply to the OP.

you have never been in florida then

that bonus is garbage so dont sweat it

If it’s garbage, then surely the Alliance on those OCE and RP servers won’t mind if it goes back to 10% for them.

Honestly don’t care either way.

The only way we will see a solution to this issue, is if Activision sells wow so that an actual video game company can give a $hit about it. Until then, poker machine wow for all.

The issue is NOT that Alliance outnumber Horde.

The issue is that Alliance outnumber Horde AND receive the increased Warmode bonus as though they are the faction which is being outnumbered.

This has continued into Shadowlands, Alliance outnumber Horde by something close to 5-1 in warmode, yet they currently receive a 25% Warmode bonus.

Meanwhile Horde, which are utterly dominated in numbers, receive the minimum 10% bonus.

Blizzard will not doing anything and any ticket I’ve created has instructed me to report it as a bug.

It’s 15% goober.

It should be 10% and Horde should be getting a higher warmode bonus, goober.

Cry more baby

You’re not a hero. Please stop trying to act like one. Horde aren’t complaining that there is an imbalance, only that the warmode bonus isn’t working as intended.

It’s a bit rich claiming that the players who intentionally PvP outnumbered are the ‘babies’ here.
