Then they will have to make sure OCE and NA cannot group while they have WM on. I guess RP servers too. That sounds wonderful.
Take the bonuses away completely. Let Horde sit in WM (or I guess Alliance on oceanic servers) and twiddle their thumbs.
And why’s that?
Whenever I join an NA player’s group, I already get pulled into their shard aka instance. Whatever mobs I have killed, are gone. Rare mob in front me? Poof. Whatever zone buffs that was there, also gone.
Just keep the Warmode bonuses like any “zone buff”. If you enter a shard where your side is far outnumbering the other faction, you lose it. It’s not like they don’t have the tech to calculate such imbalances in real time within specific Warmode shards. They do the exact same thing for Battle of Nazjatar, where the PvP event only happens if the factions aren’t majorly imbalanced in the zone, and the PvE event if it is.

Because to have different bonuses, they would have to remove you from the NA region entirely. If they do that, you will no longer be able to group with NA players.
OCE is not considered a separate region.
This is true. They can’t even be bothered to fix your night/day cycle without some stupid toy.

And even then, the toy fails, because it doesn’t really fix anything either. Us Oceanic players do get treated in a hole different way than every other server.

As long as you can hop into group finder and join US servers and vice versa it has to be region wide.
I would love they do this personally but they would be here complaining about the queue times and killing world bosses like they were before.
We were? Huh? I have been posting on the forums since the end of MoP and not once, have I came across one thread from any Oceanic player saying Queue Times are too long or we can’t kill this world boss…
No, because you have always been linked with us… guess that guy forgot. 
The only thing I ever saw OCE complain about was the lag you guys used to have before getting your own server cluster.
That’s because you were never separate for queues because blizzard knew better, however, if you WERE you would be complaining.
However, you were separate in MoP and WoD too I believe for world content and I remember complaints then about not being able to join NA groups.
Only time when we were seperatable was for Outdoor World Group content, back in MoP and WoD. Before they changed it around in Legion. But then in Dec, 2014, as soon as Oceanic had there servers actually moved to Australia, that is where the forums had few NA players complaining about lag in Oceanic groups, and has been this way for quite a fair while now. But this topic isn’t about Oceanic groups and stuff, it is actually about how Alliance on Oceanic servers are able to free benifits when the Alliance on Oceanic dominates the Horde on Oceanic servers.

Yes and we are explaining to you why this is not relevant and why this can’t be done because you can go join NA groups. Also the imbalance isn’t such they get ‘free’ benefits.
So, then remove the Warmode Bonuses. After all, Warmode was designed to be an option for World PVP, and people are just using it for the complete oposite.

I never thought they should have a warmode bonuses at all but removing it for this reason only is sort of silly.
that quest requires them to PvP - so no not the complete opposite.

AoO requires to PVP yes. But every other thousands of quest doesn’t. And most people only turn WM on to get the bonuses on the US Servers for the gear then turn it back off.

hell, its about time oceanic benefited from something.
i agree its rather stupid though. but WM in general is rather stupid. its a half assed bandaid on the bigger issues with world PvP.
i have no idea how it can be fixed at this point, and i doubt they’re going to go back to pvp/pve servers.
