Warlocks that just hellfire spam in dungeons

I was healing SM graveyard / library and all this warlock seemed to do was spam hellfire. Wasted so much mana trying to keep him and the tank up. Is this normal? It was fing awful.

Yes, this is why they removed hellfire in retail.

Just let the 'lock die. And then /point and /laugh at him until he leaves.

I don’t really see the point of that. I prefer Rain of Fire for a AoE spell. It costs a deal of mana and can be interrupted by mobs but it doesn’t force the healer to do more work than necessary and tbqh a warlock shouldn’t be pulling much aggro in an instance so I just sit back and drop meteors. Hellfire is something I might use in a jam and optimally I’ll have Voidwalker out to absorb damage with Sacrifice.

As a lock i am laughing my butt off at this. This is the most mentally challenged thing i have heard all year. Hellfire is just a way to try to top meters and piss off your tank and healer.

If you let them get down to almost dead, and leave them there, they should get a clue. However is it really an issue or just something you don’t like to heal? When I am healing, due to having played all classes at some point, I understand what is going on. I don’t have a problem with the party progressing, if the lock helps them progress by using Hellfire, fine.

I also heal Locks after they Sac their health off. It’s a “My mana is Your mana” game. As long as I can drink and we are progressing, there is no issue for me.

I actually like when my lock wants to aoe. I don’t mind having to heal them since I have a lot of +healing a low rank rejuv lets them aoe to their hearts content. They love me for it.

Usually a mage would be good addition to an aoe group because of Frost Nova. And Blizzard. And Cone of Cold.

Also, warlocks don’t really need to be healed. They can Drain Life or eat a Healthstone. And if they are Life Tap-ping to below 25% health, well, you know what you should do. lol

Yep, Healers need to stop healing consistent aggro pulling dps.
Once…an accident, twice…perhaps a lack of concentration, but three times? let em die and lol

I’ve healed a few dungeons with warlocks that like to tap themselves to near death as an enhance shaman and I honestly don’t mind. As long as the tank keeps an eye on my mana and lets me sit and drink every now and then, we good. The runs were fast and smooth, no one died, I’m happy, everyone’s happy ^.^

Coming from a warlock - Let him die.

I disagree.

Voidwalker shield + hellfire is sick dps without losing health. There is a way to use hell fire and there is a way not to use hell fire.

As someone who rolled a warlock in 2004 and mained him until pandas, I agree. Let them die.

They have tools to avoid dying if they wanna pump out that DPS. (Voidwalker Sacrifice, healthstone, drain life) If they don’t wanna use those tools they should use rain of fire.

Let him die?

Because if you spec it, it’s way better than rain of fire.

lol so because you’ve got DPS who aren’t potatoes and are capable of playing their class and pulls threat you shouldn’t heal them? Jesus, thank god I didn’t pug anything leveling lmao would’ve put my fist through my monitor having a healer like you.
