Warlocks - Soul Shards - How bad is it?

I never played a lock in vanilla

How bad is soul shard management/farming, etc?

How much extra time would you say is devoted to just dealing with souls shards? How bad is it missing the extra bag space?

Just looking for a gauge on whether it’s a mild annoyance or a major pita

minor annoyance. at least on a lock you can still have a regular bag. hunter needs a quiver

Gives me an excuse to farm, plus I can literally tab target a pack in dungeons and instantly get 4 shards in a matter of seconds with minimal effort.

The biggest tax is the bag space but at the same time… I get a major healing potion whenever I want, a self Rez… an OP shield… I can summon people… and shadowburn is god tier.

Soul shards also don’t disappear so you can fill your bank with bags full of them and just switch out your bags when it’s time to go to raid.

It’s not bad at all.

Being down 1 bag space is rough, especially when you have to consider how much you have to carry on you at most times. Keys, food, potions, profession items already take up some precious slots (still waiting on that keyring patch). But farming them isn’t a hassle as people make it out to be, at level 60 you can still net soulshards from level 48s so they’re easy kills, takes about 10 mins to full up a felcloth bag.
