No one will talk about the buffs warlocks got somedays before prepatch like. 20-35% bossted their skills dmg ? They stand still like a raid boss and just cant die while killing everyone . 3 times more dps than the other classes in bgs .nin every match
PVP is an absolute joke rn. Locks and monks are busted af rn. Cant kill them and they do ridiculous dmg with bugged out abilities.
Tank/BigDPS/Healer ALL IN ONE! is really stupid this balance, i’m leaving PVP until DF.

100% this. I wanted to grind wsg brawl for conqueror achieve and spent the whole time just grabbing flags so I got a lil whitmans sampler of nearly every class’ cooldowns and it was rough.

Honestly this is the main annoying thing. They have 500k absorbs in DF. Pretty annoying to see their HP just not move. Then if for some reason you get through the absorbs they will top healing and just heal better than a healer. All while having some of the best CC/Control in the game.
If you do high end damage you should be squishy and lack CC.
DF is PoE it’s an ARPG gonna be the least balanced PvP has ever been and most 1 shots ever seen.

As a warlock main, it is totally silly, but I don’t think it’s anything to worry about for the actual expansion. The issue is that we’ve still got access to our Shadowlands legendaries, conduits and covenant abilities.
With those, I don’t have to blow talent points on soul rot, fast drain or accrued vitality. It’s basically like locks get 10 extra talent points just from Shadowlands powers, which lets me pick up a lot of extra damage and defensives I wouldn’t otherwise have.
Wait till you guys see that locks have almost the same health as tanks in DF with cds… Their healing and damage doesn’t change at 70… Just saying

Also… Barriers now heal for 20% instead of 60%, and ice block 80% instead of 140%. I certainly don’t feel very op right now.
They literally have a 500k absorb on Beta and are unkillable. The expansion for PvP is way more broken than SL or any other time in the history of PvP. It’s pretty much gonna be unplayable unless you are rolling around with these God mode characters or at range 1 shotting everyone.
Ice block shouldn’t heal. Mages, Rogues, Hunters and most Dps shouldn’t have healing. That would fix so much in PvP. Healers are supposed to heal you when you Ice block.
Wish they would gut most healing from PvP so we have class roles again.
Yeah, but this isn’t the game we’re playing anymore. We’re playing a game where most melee DPS can instantly heal themselves for a ridiculous amount of health.
80% heals over 10 sec is simply trash. With 140%, you could remove the ice block after 5 sec and not lose as much pressure.
I’m just saying that not everyone was buffed with this patch. Some of us got nerfed unreasonably hard. So I will stop playing this game and enjoy RimWorld until Blizzard figures out how to balance their game better.
If you use a defensive you should lose pressure. That is the whole point! It’s a strong defensive! This is a step in the right direction. Not sure how you don’t see that.
I still think 80% is way to high but it’s definitely in a better spot.
I don’t care about your subjective idea of what is good; otherwise, we would be wasting a lot of time arguing about things we most likely won’t agree on. I’m just saying it’s a flat nerf and a huge one.
Overnight, I went from casting 35k frost bolt crits to 21k. Healing for 140% with the ice block ability to 80% over 10 seconds. And healing from 60% with the total value of my barrier to 20%. While also being given a new spec that simply bloats the spec, with around 5 more abilities to be “effective.”
I’m rather pissed, to be honest. lol
Yes and healing needs to be nerfed. Now what you should be doin is asking for Dps healing nerfs to other specs to bring them in line with your nerfs to fit the NEW design.
Since the Devs stated they wanted to cut resources and differentiate between Defensives and Offensives. So they nerfed you because of the NEW design. What is needed is to make sure Lock, Rogue, and the other big offenders are also brought in line.
Doing it one class at a time is rather idiotic on their end.
So glad I’m not the only one! I thought I was spec’d wrong or something. I was kiting a guy in AV for THREE MINUTES on my frost mage and I couldn’t get off some damage high enough to surpass his healing. We eventually just went our separate ways. He couldn’t get close enough to do significant damage and I couldn’t damage him enough to kill him.
