Quick question. Do Warlocks possess the ability to extend their lifespans? Say, a Human Warlock living well past a hundred years old?
I’m not sure if it’s cited anywhere in particular, but the ability to store parts of their souls in soulstones as pseudo-phylacteries combined with how they are able to drain life from others, I see it as entirely feasible.
After all, what use is the raw power of the fel if you succumb to age as any other mortal?
I’m asking because I’d like to RP my Warlock as someone slightly older, but not sure just how feasible that would be.
I think this is one of those things where if you do it, NPCs ask other players to kill you dude.
Only if they find out
“There goes old man Javed…”
“What a nice old man.”
Be careful or you might end up looking as bad as Gul’dan.
Yes
Meryl Felstorm
Still mad they gave him to Mages in Legion. That was so rude of the writers.
Age, what’s that?
laughs in undead
Meryl Felstorm was a Mage back then and never changed that, he became undead cause the Nazrethim inside him (And it makes now much more sense why he became undead)
No, its not possible.
Fel in the first place make you weaker physically, your body gets older as it should be, if you take to much fel, you starts to mutate and became more and more like a demon, than yes, your body stop aging. But otherwise you will be look much older as you really are.
False, he became undead through his own magic.
nop, he went undead because he sealed the nazrethim inside him. it was a curse.
Nope, that is not correct.
i know the comic said it differently, but in legion they said it that way and legion is younger than the comic.
The comic version was: “he died in the great Trollwar, but got undead to his own magic”, thats retconned. the Nazrethim changed him and maked him undead inside him.
The questline did not say taking the Dreadlord within him caused the undeath.
Also re: mage vs warlock, reminder Blizzard’s warlock action figure statue thing in the store for many years was Meryl Felstorm with a succubus iirc
he explained it to you. he went undead because the demon inside him, he was not able to rest in the grave. like a curse.
Cite the quest then
*waits ten thousand years *
Anywho OP, Meryl Felstorm was a Warlock (former Mage) for most of WoW’s narrative history and became undead through his own magic so once again, yes.
It is here in the middle of the day where I am and I still have to work, I am actually only writing randomly, excuse that I cannot immediately comply with your request. I will do a source search when I am at home tonight.
That makes very little sense. He wasn’t housing a demon till recently.
