Warlocked String Theory

Let’s take string theory and apply warlock principles to it. Are those not the summoning spots that you have been imagining?

Well maybe they are and maybe not depending on how warlocks are viabrating in one dimension.

us bread loafs move a lot.

An evil thing summoned from the twisting nether to which one sacrifices ones life to keep alive? Sounds like string theory alright.

Or a theory that caused all sorts of excitement which, upon review, doesn’t seem to have any science backing it up.

Well yes, that’s what I said

I like turtles.

It might have more to do with p-branes.

No, the evil thing from the twisting nether is capable of making their desires known in clear language. String theory is, shall we say, rather less clear.

I could have sworn I heard string theory whisper “I don’t like it here” as the LHC was powering up.

I’m not sure the LHC packs enough punch to bother string theory much one way or the other. The LHC’s successor, on the other hand … that might.

There is no evidence for strong theory. So its just magic

What separates string theory from magic — and yes, this is a very, very tiny fig leaf — is that it is possible at least in principle to prove it wrong.

No guy is going to wear a small fig leaf. He’ll wear a big one regardless if he needs it or not.

String theory has enough free parameters that it may never be possible to disprove it completely, only rule out more and more of an infinite space of different ways of using it. LHC eliminated some formulations. If/when the next collider is built, it will likely rule out some more.

Every time string theory is killed by an experiment, it can just be summoned back anew by the warlocks who have bound their careers to working on it.

(with apologies for any offence to all academics out there trying to improve our understanding of the universe; love you all)

Well, including the 11th dimension, time, Warlocks could be the key to understanding all the retconning in the Azeroth universe.

Of course Medivh, or mom especially(who’s probably the 6th dimension?) - would probably be able to pull together all the the loose ends. Tie a knot and hold on. lol

Which works for me and my Warlock because I’m tired of trying to be the observer to a particle and a wave. lol!

You’re probably right. I’m reminded of something John von Neumann once said, “With four parameters I can fit an elephant, and with five I can make him wiggle his trunk.”
