When the talent “Bane of Havoc” is used with “Mayhem”, the intended effect of
“Your single target spells have a 25% chance to curse the ground with a demonic bane, causing all your single target spells to also strike targets marked with bane for 60% of the damage dealt. Last 5 sec.”
never occurs in Pvp combat.
Been broken for weeks, kind of crazy they still won’t fix it?

I will forever bump these posts until it gets resolved. The fact that’s our talent tree can be broken to the point that two talents just do not function for 7+ months is insane.
For real. They don’t even mention it either like we’re the crazy ones.
I wish we could at least get confirmation that they are aware. I feel like stuff like this gets buried in a sea of junk posts. If Blizzard played their own game, this would get caught and addressed in regular playtesting. Instead, the duty to inform Blizzard lies on the community. Unfortunately, they have neglected PvP to the point that there aren’t enough players to complain for issues to get seen.
Weekly reminder that, while someone is putting out funny/fake patch notes, this is still broken for real. 7+ months
been a year and still broken it seems.
A new set of bug fixes was just released and… this… was… still… not… addressed.
Taking Bane of Havoc breaks Mayhem. Both talents do nothing. Mayhem still procs, but spells are not duplicated. The green marker that should be on the ground, duplicating your spells, is non-existent.
This is insane to me that it’s still completely broken.

Destro Warlocks have had a talent breaking bug in since the launch of TWW. If you take the Bane of Havoc PvP talent, the destruction talent Mayhem ceases to function at all. Both Mayhem and Bane of Havoc become dead talents. They do nothing. No spell duplication. No green circle on the ground like there used to be.
