this is a warlock excitement and theorycrafting post. what builds are you most excited for? what playstyles and encounters? I’m looking forward to super tanky soul link meta with immo aura. Demonic pact fire with machine gun imp. The dottiest dotter with crits as Affliction… I’m honestly gonna have to try them all!
In PvE Demonic Tactics Ruin Warlock gonna be bis. With world buff we are looking at additional 14% crit alone. Combine this with our biggest damage abilities being the runes and I reckon destro warlock will be a serious contender for the top dps slot.
In PvP I imagine a pure affliction build will be solid. Combine siphon life with haunt and master channeler and you will regenerate an insane amount of hp.
Honestly, immolation aura. I have hard time believing it. It seems op, unless it also burns like 100 mana per sec? Which it does not tell… will really love tanking.
Also love the fact you can have a fel guard, without having to spec demo.
With the damage everyone’s going to be putting out, that tankiness will be a bit underwhelming. I’m going destro first. That 30% haste on backdraft is sexy.
