Do we just get the PvP staff with the free tokens? I didn’t craft a weapon. Or do we go offhand and dagger? I’m confused. This is for affliction PvP. Thx
There’s a quest you can pick up by the PvP vendors that will reward you with the conquest weapon after you’ve earned 3 weeks worth of conquest points.
You can alternatively spend conquest points on the purple ribbons and are awarded 8 at the start of the season and only need to purchase 1 more to craft a weapon.
The main advantage of crafting a weapon will be a weapon based embellishment and picking out your choice of stats with missives.
That said I think you’re better off at the start of the season going with the conquest quest reward weapon and utilizing the weekly conquest caps to fill in your other non epic PVP pieces while going for weapon last when they eventually remove the conquest cap.
Best in slot weapon choice between conquest and crafted is debatable with the embellishment weapon bonuses nerfed to undisclosed and unknown levels in pvp, but the crafted weapon will most likely be better as you can’t get a weapon embellishment without getting a weapon crafted and as for which embellishment is best is also very debatable and situational.
It’s no longer a quest, but an achievement reward for earning 2500 conquest.

to add to this, you get to choose which of the weapons you want instead of just getting the staff we had on the quest. It also works retroactively with your earned conquest for those of you that messed up and gained conquest before accepting the initial quest.
