I’m sure previous posts have been made on this, but after testing Bloodstones once it went live? I’m here! And I bring forth the old news, news I’ve posted here several times about in the past.
Bloodstones: You can’t use these in the open world unless you’re in actual combat with a player, despite the fact that you’re in War Mode. Perhaps intentional, perhaps not. The bigger bug however? Is that they disappear after 1-2 seconds from ally inventories once acquired by either a Soul Well, or through trade. If this is intentional, it should be clarified, since the wording of Bloodstone is that the user gets the Haste benefit, and you can pick them from a Soul Well, so shouldn’t everyone get their once per combat 30% Haste buff for 12 sec?
Bane of Havoc: YOU GUESSED IT. THIS IS STILL BROKEN. I’ve made several reports on this for AWHILE NOW, but Bane of Havoc is still broken for Hellcaller Warlocks.
How it works is simply, you put down the Bane, it copies your abilities. If you’re a Diabolist and cast Immolate, it will copy Immolate to every target affected as normal. In fact, it works with every ability Warlcocks have as expected… the problem, is Wither. Hellcaller’s Immolate replacement. Instead of copying the dot to all targets, like it does if you cast Immolate, Bane of Havoc ONLY copies the initial damage of having cast Wither, but only applies the dot to the primary target.
To make it more obvious its a bug, is that normal Havoc will copy the dot onto the marked target.
Edit: Suggestions. First, just fix Wither for Bane of Havoc. Super easy, and it lets me enjoy my favorite PvP talent with my favorite Hero Spec.
Second. Have Bloodstones replace Lifeblood, so it both forces us to pick an underused talent, and instead of giving us Leech, we get Haste instead (with a bonus line that this affects allies who use your Healthstone)! That, or have it affect Soulburn: Healthstone perhaps? Where Soulburn on Healthstone doesn’t increase its healing or max HP, but instead increases Haste? You obviously decrease the Haste in both cases, so that it works with Pact of Gluttony and doesn’t turbo-toast our survival in PvP.
Edit 2: Was just tinkering with wording, but it could totally be this:
Bloodstones: Requires Lifeblood. Lifeblood now increases the Haste of a user of your Healthstone by 5/10% for 12 sec. Soulburn: Healthstone now increases your Haste by 10% for 12 sec, stacking with Lifeblood.
