I really think warlockâs survivability (at least for Affliction, which I main), is okay, at least compared to my shadow priest alt.
Shadow priestâs main survivability spell is just dispersion.
The one second fade from spectral guise and a weak 5% HP power word shield does almost nothing. And a shadow priest has no way to get away from anything at all, minus dispersion + run.
At least for a warlock, you get dark pact, demonic resolve, nether protection, demonic soul burned healthstones, soulstones, soul leech armor, demon and feel armor, fel synergy, soul link, +10 to 15% more stamina, demonic circle teleport, soul burn teleport, demonc gateway, mortal coil, soul burn instant cast gateway to run away, burning rush, fel armor letting you regen your soul leech, phantom singularity AOE drain, Soul Rot AOE life drain, maybe even siphon life (which most people wonât take).
Our survivability is really fine, compared to what other classes like shadow priests are getting. Mages, I have played. They have decent escape spells, but even with alter time and frost/blazing barrier, they are pretty squishy.
What warlocks need is to buff the lowly and pathetic drain life damage and some weak talents like siphon life (maybe making it heal for 15% to 25% dmg done instead of a mere 5%).
Affliction is fine.
But destruction needs more instant casts and maybe the same for demonology too for PvP.
