So, I’ve been doing some research and wanted to see what type of builds you are doing for PVP. I’ve been doing Shadow Mastery/Ruin build, which relies on DOTS, but with PVP, it really is burst damage, so just wanted to get some other thoughts into what builds you are running for PVP. Any thoughts is helpful, thanks!
7-7-37 conflag has burst in droves. It’s tricky to stay alive, but when you can lay down some casts things tend to blow up quickly.
The reason it’s not as popular is that you pretty much need to re-spec weekly if you raid where SM/Ruin can still be good dmg there. Also the fact that most warlocks are stacking only shadow dmg so you’d need another gear set for conflag.
DC into Shadowbolt into Shadowburn is ruining peoples lives right now.
You just need a little bit of gear. Locks that know the class are out here donking on kids in seconds.
Conflag is the burst build. Soul link is the solo world build. Sm/ruin is fine for the zergfest going on right now
Nobody is SL right now because its trash without higher end gear. It will become a god status spec around naxx tho
Opening with a deathcoil can sometimes be a plan, but I’d rather save my “oh crap” spell for a better time in most cases.

Not that being jumped by a group isn’t certain death most of the time, but Conflag builds just keel over.
I prefer this build because it’s good for solo PvP, group PvP, dungeons, raids, and farming. The points in suppression really aren’t worth that much DPS anyway.
